5-09-LADN letter, For the fallen. Re "What's in a name?"
Why is it so necessary to involve a single personality with the building?
Simply put, it is, "New Los Angeles Police Headquarters."

Energy solution -- Letters to the Editor for Friday, May 9, 2008
A single technology could prevent droughts, global warming, oil dependencies, power outages, smog pollution, drinking water contamination, and massive unemployment - to name a few.

5-09 Re: LADN letter, "Drill the coast"
It will matter not how many oil wells are drilled in this nation, the US will never become independent of foreign oil, and the price of oil will continue to increase. |

Re "ICE raids hurt our diverse society".
I wounder what Mrs Salas and the rest of the illegal immigrants coalition groups that defend them would say or do if one night coming back to their houses would find a dozen of unknown persons enjoying the kitchen or living room. They would call the police to investi - gate or they would allow them to live in their home because they are "good people just looking for a better living condition? They only would be satisfied by knowing their names? Their philosophy of "no human is illegal" would be acceptable? Some of the directors of these organizations were born on a Latin country, so they should first try to clean up their own country and then help to clean up the neighbor's house. |

I don’t know if this is legal but it sure floored me when I learned of it. PacWind Technology LLC is not related to PacWind Inc according to their attorney. Two totally and separate entities. Yet they are both listed on www.pacwind.net .
In order for PacWind ? to excuse themselves from a potential law suit they dissolved PacWind Technology LLC the company that hires the dealers / distributors to sell and install the PacWind wind turbine systems. A company they recommended (because not just anyone can sell their systems) in NY was given $12,400.00 to install a system in NJ. They never installed the system and now PacWind won’t refund our money. They dissolved the company and now we have to go after the company that stole our money. IS THIS LEGAL because if it is then PacWind probably has another company writing the warranties on their systems, which they can dissolve if something happens to the system. WOW what a loop hole for manufactures. There is no defense against it. God help the consumer. |
