1 I wish each person in Breckinridge County would take the time to visit the Ky state police sex offender registry. It will scare you to death to see how many sex offenders live here! and most are move in from other states or counties! they must think its a safe haven to live. We are still such a rural county, people can get lost here, or so they think. People like me make it a point to keep up with these perverts, I have grand kids living here. There needs to be a group of concerned citizens in Breck Co get together to make sure these sex offenders are compliant and not abusing our kids. Lets face it, no matter how great of a sheriff we have, our county resources are thin. Its time we took matters in our own hands to ensure the safety of our children. I am in no way stating we need to harass these people, they just need to be watched closer. and us as citizens of Breck Co should do just that. |

1 This is everyone's business. As long as an offender is in society. |
