I have been friends with Nelson since he was young in High School and I can vouch he was the type of person to help anyone in need.As an adult he enjoyed his beer and being around others until the drugs came along. As so many others it consumed his life and he changed but when he was sober he was the Nelson I remembered. Just goes to show you the horrible affect drugs cause.Which I am sure each and everyone of us have a family member involved so who are we to point the finger.As far as the aqusations being made towards him concerning his children, how do you know it isnt more then a Church Point rumor. We are not the judge nor jury, and he isnt here to defend himself is he? I know he loved his kids,he spoke often of them. One day I told him Congrads on his grandbaby and he had the biggest smile on his face when he told me TY, What happened in HIS home is he and Michelles business but naturally some of Ch Pts finest they have to come here and post their business and everyone elses on topix. Why not post yours cause each and every family have some type ofdrama in their families.A son, father, uncle and brother has ended his own life and instead of posting shit on here why not you take the time its taking you to type the shit, you pray for him and his family and ask God to forgive him for the wrong he has done and that his family may find peace now along with Nelson himself. Remember the old saying, " you spit up in the air it falls back on your nose." Family members of Nelson my thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you. May God hold you all in his arms and give you all the peace needed and comfort knowing that nelson is now resting peacefully. RIP my dear friend.

If you were a valued cousin you would have respected both he and his family not to come here on topix and bash his name nor put the families business so the entire town to see. I hope as a valued cousin, if you have the proof that even is one of his children that started the other topic,helped these children contact the correct authorities to report such abuse. As a valued cousin I would also have spoken with the children not to come to a public forum and put their personal business out there. I hope that I never end up with such a valued cousin as yourself.

I did not know ur father very well but every time i saw him he had a hello and a smile.
I dont know if he did these things that people have accused him of but it does not matter cause he is with his maker and will be judged accordingly my the almighty power of god,not gossipers from CP.
If he did make mistakes while he was alive that does not make him any better or worse than the next man.We have all sinned on this earth some of us have bigger sins than others and some of us have smaller sins than others.Some of us have sinned and it has been revealed and some of us that sinned has not had the sin revealed.
Most people that have sinned was due to lack of better judgement while drunk or high on drugs.Some of us sinners are just pure evil.Only god can judge us,not man.
One thing i have learned in my many years on this earth is that most sins are committed while high are on drugs,Dont get me wrong,i am not referring to ur dad,i am talking about myself and what i have learned.The devil lays at the bottom of a whiskey bottle waiting for someone to swallow him up.The devil also hides in a pill bottle waiting for someone to swallow him up.
I dont know you at all but if you want to do something for your dad,folloow the rules of Christ and allow him in your heart,raise yourself a good family and dont consume the devil from an alcohol or pill bottle.God bless you and may you have a wonderful drama and sin free life!!!
