You know, that kind of behavior goes on every day at several street corners of the US.
Why are you so upset about the protestors? Are you part of the 1%? Don't you think that reports were a bit exaggerated? If so, by whom?
The protestors are out there for what they believe in. Instead of pepper spraying them, they should be handing out trash bags and providing port-o-let service. If they break the rules, arrest them; but don't interfere with their American right to Free Speech. Keep in mind, this is America, not Syria.
Do you think maybe the 1% is using this to SHUT UP the 99%? Is that right?

To all of you who condone this, simply invite these people over to your properties to do their thing. Then YOU can clean the mess. I'm sure they are looking for places to gather. This would be your way of helping!
#23 Apr 16, 2012
You keep forgetting, this is America and Public places is as much their place as it is your place. The have freedom of speech and are exercising their right to protest. If you problem is with the mess, then the police should hand out trash bags instead of spraying them with pepper spray. Again, this is NOT Syria!
All the complaints are to take away their right to disagree and protest; not the mess!!!!!

Video: Walker explains divide, conquer strategy
MADISON, Wis.(AP)— Newly-released documentary film footage from January 2011 shows Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker describing a "divide and conquer" strategy for going after the state's public employee unions that would begin with going after their collective bargaining rights, undermining his long-held claim that his divisive union rights law was meant solely as a budget-balancing measure.
The video, which filmmaker Brad Lichtenstein captured for a documentary about the city of Janesville's efforts to create jobs following the closure of a General Motors plant, shows the newly-elected Walker talking to a top donor, Beloit billionaire Diane Hendricks, and Mary Willmer-Sheedy, an M&I Bank executive from Janesville.
In the clip, Hendricks asks Walker whether he can make Wisconsin a "completely red state, and work on these unions, and become a right-to-work" state, referring to states that have passed laws favored by conservatives that allow workers to not pay union dues or join a union, even if they are covered by a union contract.
"Well, we're going to start in a couple weeks with our budget adjustment bill," Walker said. "The first step is we're going to deal with collective bargaining for all public employee unions, because you use divide and conquer," Walker responded
I wonder if he is also in the Koch Bros. club? What a lying little weasle!!!! Are you going to continue to allow the 1% to LIE to you to get you to support their GREED?

Idiot!!! Do your research!!! Clinton administration was holding their asses when he was still in office and the market was slipping heavy. W only inherited his catastrophic mess and worked very well while this was repaired. It took the Obama administration zero time to make Americans believe that we were in trouble. It took him two years to increase the deficit so damn high!!! Damn liberals. Wouldn't be surprised if ol blue lips neg Obama wasn't a closet gay!

Where are you getting your facts, Fox News? Turn off the TV. You do know the owner of Fox News was found "not fit to run an international corporation". The guy running Fox News now (his last year) had the hots for Sarah Palin, so he hired her. Noticed she did not "scream sexual harrassment while running to her lawyer's office". These people are greedy and worship MONEY above ALL else.
Clinton Administration inherited the mess Reagan made. H. Bush tried to clean it up (raised taxes when he saw middle class jobs going overseas - lower tax revenue), but was voted out. Clinton came in and "balanced the budget". Jobs were up then. Then W.(the class clown) came in and gave it all to the 1% he referred to as his base.
You people, middle class/poor repubs, were used. A means to an end.
It's not too late to change and come to the light side. Aren't you tired of feeling like a fool yet?

It may be their right to protest but not to destroy property! Take a good look at the videos on Youtube and see the disaster these racists, criminals and thieves leave behind.
There is such thing as peaceful demonstration! Why don't you go clean up the mess?
#28 May 14, 2012
@ Rosanne Roseanna Danna
It is against the law to destroy public property.
If they made a mess, they should clean it up and pay for damages.
HOW DO YOU KNOW THEY DID NOT AT THE END OF THE DAY, after pictures and videos were taken? How would you like to be convicted based on some video on YouTube only?
If they are Americans, their taxes help pay for maintenance on public property. This is NOT the USSR, thank GOD!
Again, turn off Fox News. You do know that people who get all their news from there are the MOST uninformed?

you are the fool. I was very very heavily involved in the stock market at that time over ten years ago. We saw the writing on the wall then. Keep your sorry but researching fox news and I'll just watch my money. Oh I really could care less about Palin!
#30 May 15, 2012
They were not convicted on YOUTUBE videos you stupid moron! Why don't you follow them around and wipe their asses for them. And why are you blaming FOX news for the filth of the Occupiers movement?
#31 May 15, 2012
Give me a break!
First, you don't have the facts about the 99%. They were not protesting on every street corner so the mess was not that bad. Probably like a festival. If they were given a permit to protest, they probably had to pay a cleanup deposit (or should have). Protesting is the American way!
It has been reported over and over again about people who watch Fox News only - most uniformed. Polls were taken. Just change the channel and you will see what I mean. Why on earth would you want to hear one point of view over and over again? Don't you want all the correct facts so you can make an informed choice?
The stock market has always gone up and down - corrections. It wasn't until a bunch of college grads, on break in Florida, came up with derivitives to help Exxon get loans, that other bankers started sandwiching subprime loans (mid 2000's) and selling all over the world. Do you not understand that people, who would not otherwise qualify for a loan, got loans with ARM's. They barely qualified for the loans and in two years or if they lost their jobs, would default on these loans. Most people saw that on the wall (you are NOT a genius). Most didn't know that these loans were part of derivities that got AAA ratings because of the assets they were sandwiched between. The people on WallStreet are not SMART, they found ways to cheat the system and taxpayers; while making themselves rich. I have NO sympathy for them and their cocaine/prostitute habits. More should be stripped of the ill gotten money and put in jail.
If Mitt R. goes into the WH, it will ALL be swept under the rug and WallStreet will run the WH.
Keep in mind Mitt R. is good friends with Scott W. Scott W. is in with the Koch Bros. Look up ALEC (this is against small business and taxpayer rights - wants to do away with taxpayer govenment and let the 1% take control of the country - FOR PROFIT). The Koch Bros started this "club" and both Scott W. and Bobby Jindal (noticed that all his recent bills has to do with turning everything over to For Profit) has been linked to it. I would not be at all surprised if Mitt R. is in the club too!

Double standard, you have a double standard mind. It only goes so far, then it stops. It processes what you want to believe, never mind true facts.
Stay in your double standard mind while the rest of the world moves on.

@ Ground Zero Absentee: Truth hurts doesn'it?
You must watch Fox News only, because your post doesn't make sense; just mean Repub Christian ranting (which doesn't make sense)!

Walker Dislikes Job Numbers, So He’ll Put Out His Own
When Wisconsin job numbers compiled by the U.S. government were on the upswing last year, Governor Scott Walker traveled to Milwaukee to tout them as proof that he was turning around the state’s economy.
Now that the Bureau of Labor Statistics figures have shown for months that the state is losing more jobs than any other, Walker, a Republican who faces a June 5 recall election, will release his own.
Wisconsin lost 23,900 jobs between March 2011 and 2012, according to the bureau, which will release fresh estimates tomorrow. Walker, who promised to create 250,000 jobs by the end of his first term in 2014, says the state is performing better than that. He said while campaigning this week that he would release his own figures as early as today, the Associated Press reported.
HE MUST HAVE LEARNED THIS TRICK FROM WATCHING "FOX NEWS". Is it going to work with you? He seems to know that FOX NEWS watchers don't check facts, so he will beable to float the LIE!

Scott Walker Raised Unprecedented Funds Ahead Of Wisconsin Recall Victory
According to the filing, Walker took in $27.7 million since the beginning of the year, during which he went on a nationwide tour giving speeches and raising money to fend off the recall.
I WONDER WHERE THIS MONEY CAME FROM? Doesn't look like the marjority of it came from the Good Citizens of Wis. Maybe Corporate America?
It was recently reported that wages in this state were lowered - mean the employed are getting paid less to do the same work. WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS? I wonder if this report had come out before the recall election, would he still be Gov.?
Keep in mind Jindal is running around with the same crowd. Could this be why Louisiana's wages stay so low? Maybe we need to take a closer look at the types of industries/jobs Jindal is attracting to Louisiana.
With the greater number of kids graduating from universities and Vo-Tech colleges, shouldn't the type of jobs/pay match? Who is Jindal really working for Corporate America or Louisiana taxpayers? We cannot pay our bills (abandon welfare state status we are now) if we don't have a strong income tax base. Simple Math!!!
Oh yeah, doesn't Scott Walker look alot like Hitler?

Scott Walker, Wisconsin Governor, Cannot Dictate Public Education Policies, Judge Rules Law Unconstitutional
It seems like there is an epidemic of Govs. around the country wanting to dictate rather than lead. This is an interesting article about people power.
If you feel that your Gov. has overstepped the law, challege him.
Now would have been the ideal time to recall Scott Walker.
