There are a few honest attorneys around, but very few and hard to find, really hard to find. But, for the most part if it is a case where they can make alot of money whether they win or lose, make alot of publicity whether they win or lose then they don't care whether their client is guilty. Why tell the truth when they can get so much more by telling a lie?
