City police have apprehended one person and suspect three more in the dismemberment of Holly Ween, the giant, pink-haired scarecrow.

THIS IS NOT FUNNY but for some reason or other it made me chuckle. No disrespect to the people who created it. I think it's still adorable with 1 foot and shoe or 2. I smile everytime I drive by it. I seriously wish that it wasn't so close to the crosswalk though because it's hard to keep and eye on the scarecrow and the crosswalk at the same time.

I know, don't you remember when this would have been considered a prank? Those darn pesky camera's catch everything nowadays! Thank God my boys didn't do it because it would have been difficult keeping a straight face when I found out what they had been arrested for. I hope this doesn't go on their records. Just not worth it!!

Destructive pranks are not funny. Toilet paper in trees might be funny, but not when other people put a lot of effort in creating something for the whole community to share and some little spoiled butt head has to wreck it. I think these kids when caught should be made to clean up all the debris after the festival is over. If it were my kid, I'd make him apologize and volunteer him to do some big time community work. Kids are so spoiled today. I'm sure the police are able to prioritize their efforts and manpower effectively between the prank and the violent nut on the loose.

Actually, you're right...it is kinda funny. The one part that really bothers me though is that one of the kids is already in jail on an "unrelated charge". Does anyone else see a pattern developing here? Plus the fact that the cops knew all 4 of them when they saw the video. Hmmm, there's more to these kids than "pranksters" if the local cops know them that well.
