Same as the other communities. Schalmont brought one team, Cobleskill brought one team, and Fonda it was more of a walk through to see if all communities are on the same page. I was at the meeting I set it up so I said I would bring my team. That was all, it wasn't any other way. If there are so many problems or questions please come to me I have no problem answering them.

Simply wondering nothing meant by it, parents do have concerns but hard to bring them in the current environment. Thanks

Is there any truth to the rumor that coach hyney is resigning? Or that coach fox has resigned?

Yes coach fox has resigned and I have not made a decision as to what I'm doing after this year.

You can always approach me with a concern. I will not take it personally. I take it personally when things are all over a website like this. I'm here for the kids and yes as a parent I have concerns too so I don't blame you.

And this is why the schools dont let just anybody coach sports. Total crazyness. I just love watching parents throughout the years making sure there kid gets what they want and shit on the others and then when there kid gets to the High School level they try to squeeze into the progam as avolunteer or an assistant with the head coach, heres just to name a few ( Hodge, Stahler, OConner, Bowerman,) and many more. Its funny that these people try to get there kid the upper hand over a more deserving athlete but in the long run it never works out for them when they leave Canjo, it catches up with them, your not doing your kid any favors when a parent acts this way.

That is very disheartening to hear. I felt Coach Fox was very genuine and sincere. He put a lot of my fears to rest about entering my son into what could be a dangerous sport. What a shame! All because certain parents can't act like adults and voice their concerns.

Isn't this the same community that has 8 little league coaches for one team of 12 players? That explains a lot right there. Once again, let Coach Hyney and Bowerman do their thing and keep the parents out of it. It is still a game.....right?

I'm an outsider coach that has played both teams this year and it was ovious to me that one team was much better than the other. in fact we ended up quiting becuase of to many kids getting hurt. I don't blabe any one of your coaches for that, but your program having the same # of kids that we have, i'm not sure why we were told we had to have three teams when you guys divided them up into two teams. my team has 3 6th graders and 9 5th graders. we would have much more compeditive with two teams, but it was made clear to us from canjo who runs this program that we had to go with three teams.
the bottom line is we follow the model that this is instruction football. our #1 goal isn't worrying about getting to a super bowl and if that's what is being taught there, then maybe we should find a different league, cause shame on them! 3rd- 6th graders!!!!

Obviously you have no clue what you are talking about. Maybe you should talk with the head of schalmont because we didn't force anyone to have 3 teams. All we said is we needed to know how many teams so we can do schedules. As far as fairness, REALLY both teams are 4-0 and because one team has a few star players that makes them better. Our white team has star players also. They were on that team last year also. Also, Canajoharie isn't the head of the league Cobleskill is so if you have an issue than maybe you should talk with them. Unlike a certain community once drafted to a team our kid stays on that team we don't switch kids back and forth depending on the team we play that week.

Yes, I seen that also and thought how stupid is it to have 8 coaches on a team. I tell ya parents are screwed up and the thing that bothers me is they think its alright. I feel bad for the children.

Get your facts straight- it wasn't 8, it was 9 little league coaches for an 11 player team! This is how to run a youth sports program. The recent problems in the football program could have been avoided if there were more coaches involved.

Wow. So this is Topix. I've heard about this shit hole, and now I see why. I heard that shit was being talked about a friend of mine and their family, so I thought I'd check it out. Why do you all hide behind a false identity? Afraid that people might find out who you really are? Coach and Mrs. Hyney are good people. My son plays on the same teams as their son, and I feel that he's a very fair coach. The team doesn't win because of cheating. The team wins because they play as a TEAM. Their son's an excellent player - not because he gets treated differently, but because he and his family practice together whenever they can. Coach treats all of the team members equally. I know this because I was there - watching the games - watching the practices. There are other kids on these teams that play just as well as Coach's son, and Coach puts them where he believes that the team as a whole will benefit. What is your problem? If you're not man or woman enough to say this shit to their face, then back the fuck off. What right do you have doing this to them behind their back? What makes you so damn perfect? If you think you could do better, by all means - show yourself. Don't expect another response from me. This was my first and last time on this piece of shit website. I just hope you all grow the fuck up.

No matter what anyone thinks about any adult or coach. The child should not be brought into it. I happen to know the family very well, and all of their kids are very talented not because their parents coach any of the sports they are in but because they try hard and work for it. I honestly think that some of you "concerned parents" are just lashing out on pure jealousy. If that was your kid out there and he was quaterback you wouldnt be complaining now would you? So just leave the child out of it, he has nothing to do with your problems.

i think u all need to take the time u r on here n maybe address the coaches with ur concerns! i have a son with severe anxiety and all the coaches helped him thru the season! they were all so nice n understanding! i never thought id see my son play football but they made that possiable for him! and no my kid was not on the winning team he was canjo white! i might not agree with everything that goes on but if i disagree ill go to the coaches! my son played a great season n im proud of him and his whole team for giving it their best n making it as far as they did! my son weights 77 pounds i think n he played against some pretty big kids and did an awsome job! lets not take away from these kids how well they did n how far they have come so congrats to all of canjo u guys did amazing!
