Yes, They are going to use horses instead of golf carts. Gonna make for a few ruts in the course and some land mines also. And it will be more challanging trying to dodge the amish kids....but after your game you can go the bar and get some milk and pie.

Its dead Mr Woods realized the profitability is just not there. Might as well realize that its gone, like Beech-Nut, just like all that gave Canajoharie its elitist attitude. Like it or not the future of this town is for sale signs, amazing that the party lasted this long! If its so great, go buy some houses, there are over 150 for sale....great investment!

Are we really sure or is it just a rumor? On this site who can tell with all the BS on this. I will take it with a grain of salt. Need more facts than just someone saying it on here.

If it is true that just means Eric Woods ruined it and then Dad saw it as a headache and said sell it. First with the money gets it. To Hell with its history, so sad,the almighty buck wins again. As if he needs the money.

He could have just kept it going just for the community. Look at all of the people he has DISAPPOINTED.

I don't have a lot of money, but it has always
interested me how jealous people can be toward
people who have money. The Canajoharie Country
Club has history! Does it date back to the Civil
War? Also, doesn't this seem like a perfect
time for "someone" to buy the club and restore
it to its former "glory"? "Staff sgt" , here's a
perfect opportunity for a group of interested
citizens to buy it and keep it going just
"for the community".

People buy businesses when they think they can
make a profit from the business. Can someone
make a go from the country club? It seems like
the Amish are pretty successful businessmen.
Maybe they could make something out of the
country club. That's assuming they "are"
interested in buying it.

the past was Canajoharie, the future is anywhere but Montgomery Co. Country Club? for who? who is wealthy here? People on Welfare cannot afford to go there... look around... thats all Canajoharie is... time to start over...ie think London, now all we need is a Christopher Wren...and some Jewish Lightning.... did anyone see the article in the CSE? Canajoharie looked terrible.. well I mean it looked as it really looks... horrible!
