Done plenty.

Betcha you are a native -- went to school here huh?

(only tidbits talk about how many T shirts they prowdly own)

Radio Carreer Huh?-- want have you got? a real keen CB?

Come on boy. settle down. You'll get the family all upset over dinner.

So.... you just like to spout out your diatribes and not have any one speak back at your low-life-lowest-common cognitive ability.

that's OK. Hit the road.

Let's get Ollie North out there on the front lines.

He'll figure out a way to make a buck on this war ---

he's good at that.

There should be a goal, or goals, which would function as reasonable benchmarks to indicate when we have accomplished our mission. In the absence of such, particularly in a war against a concept ie terrorism rather than a sovereign nation, there is no way to determine when it is safe to leave. If we say we are going to stay until there is peace and stability in the Middle East, we might as well start bankruptcy proceedings and settle in for the long haul, becuase that has not been the case for thousands of years, and likely will not be the case in the foreseeable future.
A great response indeed. And to think we didn't even get a chance to start bashing each other like most others that replied.

It seems reasonable to say the word "stop" has to be defined a bit.....over night no, over time yes, it must.

Well said. But was there the same 'outrage' on the initial invasions of those two countries --- or the same reasoned --'How can we fight an ideology'

We're there --- and we'll have to stay there for a while. Really too bad-- it's a shame -- and stupid.

So reminecent of viet nam -- but then, there is that military complex we have to keep employed. Dang! what else is left in Pitts??? The Plastics was sold off. PCB Transformers?....well....

Like it or not .. free trade markets sold us,(that's U.S. out)-- Levi jeans are made far away -- EVERYTHING ! there is not the means to support the working people here. Can't even get a good car

Hate to say it but we just may be on the way down.

just my opinion

I know that's not what out-of-state-posters want to here but---------- free market.

Thank You. The bashing serves no useful purpose, so it is much more fun to go past it and move on to the free exchange of ideas... Now, if only the Congress could figure that out.

I couldn't agree more. It would seem that such a definition has to begin with a realistic set of goals. I would also like to think that winding down traditional military action against concepts, e.g. terrorism, is in our best interest financially as well. I am all for US Security, but it needs to be sustainable. I fear our current course of action may not be.

"That war is not the answer, that young men shouldn't die.
Sit down young stranger I'll wait for your reply.

The answer is not easy... for souls are not reborn. To wear the crown of peace you must wear the crown of thorns

Sorry there 5b it's just that after a while, somehow you provide a certian stimulation.

ahhh, sorry. you've got so little to say, it's like being on Gilligan's Island with out the two young ladies. It's the sort of thing that reading your posts there is an overwhelming desire to get shot-faced drunk.

Maybe if you could provide some of your otherwise deep and thoughtful commentary on anything other than pat sajak, the A Team... well something from the 1990s. And darn, I don't mean to be mean, but maybe tone down that strong desire to meet Mr Klean under the covers in MD.

If you want to play doctor--- hey we all got our fetishes -- but it is sort of political discussion board here. If you want to make kissy kissy, do it on the phone or by mail,.... ok male.

All I ever wanted was a rambunkshus discussion of the state of the union -- yeah...then your mr klean started stealing names and speading lies. Maybe someday soon you guys can spead something in common. You'd like that.....

Dear Nate, How have you been? I've been doing well myself. I want to forward you some emails your part-time employee Peter K has been posting to topix (a small newsgroups with a small readership). I know that you will find them disturbing.

Hope to see you soon,

A country of atheists

Harvey, LA

Americans, with the exception of those who do not, kill like an atheist would, meaning that they are actually convinced that after a person dies, they disintegrate and that's it. And it's so ironic that a country that swears under god, and considers itself religious, actually forgets about their beliefs, as if they are nothing more than fiction, when it comes to killing. However, nobody really knows what happens to you after you die. In essence, Americans don't even know what they are messing with when they kill, particularly if you take into account all the beliefs of the US population. It's more reasonable to refer to the US as a country of atheists, as opposed to religious, not because of the way Americans act, but also because it's very hard to prove that you believe in god especially when you exhibit what is obviously atheist behavior.
