Remember A&W in Dracut where the florist is now? That used to be a carhop type place! I loved it as a kid!

If some local business owner were smart, they would get one of these up and running without the Sonic name.

OK I love Sonic, but c'mon. Main St. from Wilmington thru Tewksbury is already busy as it is during rush hour. IMAGINE what it will look like once Sonic hits it!

A new Sonic will bring jobs into town.
Stop complaining about the traffic. Take Glen Rd. to Brown St. to Whipple Rd. to avoid traffic.

Good: Yummy!!! We need a Sonic in Massachusetts

Bad: Have you ever been 2 a Sonic and try to order, its kind of complicated! What are the servers gonna do in the snow, wear skii's instead of roller blades?

FWIW....a friend who lives in a NJ neighborhood where a Sonic opened over the summer and whose son works there said after the initial hype is over, the novelty quickly wore off to the point of cutting worker's hours for lack of enough business.

Opening another Sonic in this area is great, but not sure about this location. Main St. in Wilmington is already quite busy as it is. If the new Sonic generates even a fraction of the traffic that the Peabody one did when it first opened (and Peabody still generates A LOT of traffic during peak hours, especially in the drive-thru), then traffic on Main St. will be a nightmare.
