State lawmakers consider trust funds for pets

So, these lawmakers and pompous be-wigged purveyors of a persons last will and testament state that the last wishes of a person be dis-regarded only if the pet is bequeathed most if not all of their posterity??
If the children are rotten, ungrateful ne'er do wells who have squandered whatever they received at the hand(s) of parent(s) they are entitled to money even if totally cut out of a will at the behest of an aggrieved parent? The lawmakers cite angry or eccentric people. Does this still give progeny an imagined entitlement to their money and holdings? Even if they aren't, a parents money does NOT automatically belong to the kinder, at least in my not so humble opinion.
Even Helmsley, just because she was eccentric, everyone assumes she was crazy by not giving the kiddies her money? I find this arrogance of the highest order..
