It's highly curious that 3 months have passed and the local authorities have taken no action. It gives the appearance that they continue to be complacent.

If it is true that Sean is working as a property manager in RI, is there a connection to the former owner of SKISAT who is from RI?

Why in the world is Bill Larsen still on the board of selectmen in Waterville? He admits to having a private meeting with the Stone's before all of this went public. He then apologized in a town meeting for doing so and asked the board how he can make it up to them (after he got caught) Hey Bill, lets start with posting the contents of that meeting for all of us tax payers to read. Second, you should resign ASAP! Is anyone going to be held accountable? The Valley is a joke.

Conspiracy theories abound on this forum. I'm willing to bet the former owner of SkiSat doesn't even know who Sean Stone is, AND he has nothing to do with the property management biz.

...And, I heard from a law enforcement source that there WILL be an arrest(s), but the forensic accountant and others are still pulling the evidence together. From my understanding, there won't be any arrests until all ducks are in order because once arrested the clock starts ticking for a right to a speedy trial. Better to dot all I's and cross all T's before prosecuting. Real life isn't like an episode of "Law & Order" where the perp is arrested, tried, and sent to jail in less than an hour.

I hardly call 4 months "less than an hour". I call it incompetence.

I was told in the beginning that a case like this would take 3-5 months to get to the arrests. We are still in that timeframe. To think that there will be no arrests is foolish. What makes people think this will be swept under the rug?

Try Googling "How long does it usually take to be arrested after an embezzlement investigation?" and check out the answers...four months is hardly incompetence.(Yes, I know this isn't an embezzlement case, but it involves a similar level of forensic accounting investigation.) Sorry it's such an inconvenience for you, but I'm sure the folks handling this investigation are less concerned with making people like you happy, and more focused on a thorough and complete investigation.

Not a matter of being "happy" . You try getting screwed up the arse with a telephone pole and let's see how patient you are.

Do you think you're the only person who's been "screwed," as you so eloquently put it? There are LOTS of us who have been financially/negatively impacted in one way or another by this situation. Patience is a virtue.

It's this type of naive, head in the sand, thinking that allowed hundreds of property owners to be robbed.

As I was told by someone who was at that meeting Mr Larsen apologized to the other members of the board for an oversight. The oversight was that without consulting the two other board members he met with the group of condo owners and gave his opinion as to how things should be handled, This could have been taken by the Condo owners as the opinion of the Board as to how things should proceed.

I have also heard that the investigation is being handled by the forensic accountants of the FBI and is making progress.

I wish that this rumor mongering would stop , Place your anger where it belongs , with the people who took and spent the money

It's too bad that all this dirty laundry is aired in public. Now, when you search for WV, a lot of this junk appears in the search results.
