I do not have to hide my name I am Mikes brother. To you Annie Workman. I do not appreciate the things you have been saying about me and my mother. You need to stop putting things on the computer about us for no one is perfect. I do not want to see anything else about us on topix or anywhere on this compuer. You did not allow us to see him for six days while he was in the hospital due to you coming up wit a power of attorney we got fifteen minutes with him. Then after his death you came up with a will leaving everything to you, the funny thing is you got everything from a man that would not give you his last name. One other thing Michael hung himself on friday you and your family were cleaning the house out early saturday morning and dont forget to fill the holes in the back yard in were you where digging for a burried treasure. If you want to talk about me and my family I wish you would talk to me face to face. you wont take me or my moms calls. You also need to fix the dog house back after trying to tear it up looking for whatever you were looking for in it.

For the record... I have not written anything about you or your mother on this forum or, any other. It is in poor taste and Mikey deserves the right to rest in peace.

The only thing I have done on here is to defend his character and ask that anyone with negative thoughts please keep them to themselves out of respect.

Bashing anyone would only defeat that purpose.

My job and the last thing that I could do for Mikey was to make sure to honor HIS wishes.(He was very specific about what he wanted and made it clear to me and his close friends. It is also stated in his will.)

As far as the hospital, again, I was doing what HE wanted. However, I thought it through and felt that the right thing to do was at least offer a brief opportunity to visit, say goodbye and hopefully make peace.

You and he had not spoken in a long time and are assuming things that are not correct.

Firstly, during a big rainstorm both the house basement and garage filled almost to the top.
The water contained sewage and fuel and could not be pumped out for days. This destroyed almost everything in those areas.(Its well documented with complaints to the city of Lexington that you can access through an open records request to LFCUG)

With the city denying responsibility, and the flooding continuing, Mikey dug several holes in the yard to try and determine where the water issue was coming from.(If you had looked at the dirt around the holes, you could see that it was not freshly dug and had been like that for months.

Soon after the flood, Mikey became ill and had not worked in over a year. With the biz closed and the house inhabitable, we moved back to Morehead for financial reasons.

Because Mikey was ill, he had prepared a will and power of attorney statement.(If you feel the signature is not his, feel free to hire a hand writing expert to confirm.) He had changed his signature at the banks request a while back do to (he thought) office forgeries.

Months before his passing, he had sold his excavator and most every other big ticket item to cover his bills and attorney fees over the sewer dispute.(This you can reference through past sale records on fastline.com . Also your mother is friends with the Mortons whom he sold his beloved Indian artifacts to.)

As far as the house,(we believe) and an old employee broke in when they learned that the house was vacant. They accessed both the house and garage, as well as disemboweled the dog house.

Due to this, we were already in the process of moving the week that this horrid event happened.

So yes, the moved continued because either way what was still there had to be moved before it was stolen and the workers were already scheduled to help. My Dad was nice enough to oversee things in our absence.

And so you know... His estate owes more than it was worth. Mounting medical bills, back IRS and student loans just to start. It would be foolish to forge a will and accept accountability that has nothing to gain and has left me with more complicated loose ends to deal with than you can imagine.(I have sat down with his aunt and father which both reviewed his financial statements and you will be able to get a copy of the finalization of the estate when it is filled.)

I paid for his funeral personally. In which I tried to accommodate most family requests, even when there were no offers to help pay the bill.

I loved Mikey deeply with all my heart and soul and always will. Anything I did was what he instructed me to do. This includes having no contact with you or your Mom. I did not agree with everything, and none do I enjoy. However my obligation is to him.

The bottom line is that there are no winners in all of this... Especially Mikey.
