I truly don't understand why we tolerate coal mining in our community. I mean we are at war here with these idiots that run coal companys. As good little soldiers you fall in line and take their little 2 bits o silver why the earth dies???????? I am not proud of kentucky at all, one of these days coal miners wife, u will understand what I mean, lung cancer and other cancers from ur precious coal, stick that sh!t were the sun won't shine.I hate coal mining.

It seems so funny that you often speak of us being good little soldiers and of us being at war. We are at war, you moron and at most part it is my opinion that we are at war over another commodity that we take from the earth....OIL. I bet you drive a car that emits waste that damages the ozone layer and pollutes the air. We all know that every time you post a message on this forum that you are using electricity and the computer that you are using has many precious metals that we harvest from the earth in the form of MINING...YES MINING. Is your driveway paved or graveled? Either way it has another items that we mine on it, limestone. Then decide if u want to donate to the cause. That is all we ask coal miners wives, we could use ur support in this war against coal and to save the kids, right, ur kids are the most important thing to u, right? Then do the right thing and give them a chose, not decided by ur hubby or local leaders, their choice, what about it coal miners wive, are u going to let them chose?

Amen, this is what will help bring eastern ky out of poverty. Lets focus on alternative fuels and less on nasty coal mining, I say when u see a miner, tell them to their face of what they are doing to our earth too, tell them what vandals they are, I do every time I go to a place that rallys for coal.
