who is that shaved head wierdo that is the principal after Mr. Halsey left. He looks like someone out of a horror movie. He won't speak to the kids and now he is going to make them have a dress code, He told the teachers not to tell about the dress code.

They already have a dress code. I guess all the kids at going by it or something. I think some of them need a dress code. These little girls need to cover it up they are to young to show everything and look like there pants are about to bust open.

then maybe it is the mothers that need the dress code since they buy the clothes the little girls wear

From what I have seen he doesn't have much control over what goes on in the classrooms. The teachers should be teaching our students instead of staying on their cell phones and then punishing the children because they get loud. They are there to teach not to talk on the phone.

Then maybe he should try to get a little control over his teachers---after all he is the one who has to evaluate them and ask for them back next year. He can go into the classroom and observe, and he can listen on the intercom and he can watch on the cameras they have installed in the classrooms. Get rid of the bad teachers and principals if they have the guts.

if you have questions about what is going on at the school why not volunteeer to work there some8750. no better way to find out personally than to be in the building--i am sure the school would be glad for the extra help and you could make sure your child is getting what they need. As far as a dress code many parents today have pretty much turned the raising of their children over to the school so i guess proper dress etquitte is to be expected. I would hope that if I had questions about my child, their school or curriculum I would have the backbone to go to the school and ask questions instead of getting on a public forum and just gripping--i would at least find out who my board member was or my site base parent member and ask them to look into it for me. Although this principal is different from the last that doesn't mean he cares less for the school and children--maybe he just has differnt ways of showing it. Mr. Halsey choose to leave-Mr. Whisman was hired--maybe everyone should give him a chance, talk to him and find out what is going on instead of using this place to complain

Mr. Whisman is a very hard worker, cares about his school and is by the book. The sad part of all of this is that a dress code is necessary, but if it is then so be it, i think it will be enforced fairly and campton elementary is a great school.

The audacity and crudeness of some people never cease to amaze me! It is extremely sad that some people are so unhappy in their own life that they sink to being so crass to make themselves feel better or worse yet think that this is funny!

How about an INTELLIGENT discussion about dress codes or quality of our children's education????

I have personally been unhappy with the school this year...they have ran out of food at breakfast time and lunch time, the lunch room during breakfast of a morning is nasty. If you sit with your child while they eat you have to wipe the table with a napkin before sitting down and the floor next to the garbage can has milk spilled all over it..can you say unsanitary and dangerous. Lets not forget when they brought the porta potties into the gym because there was no water and they were over flowing so our children were stepping in shit!!!...thats not straight by the books..that is against the law and they knew it but they had some children on a trip so it was cheaper that way, they wouldn't have to run the buses twice. The health department went up there on them as soon as it was reported. I also found out this morning that the kindergardeners cant buy snack anymore at lunch time...that is not right..That by the way was Judy Carson and Mr. Whismans call. I agree on going to your board members about all this but it seems to do no good. I have tried. You want to talk about politics in the school system and board thats what we got now. I think the superintendant and board members are all full of it. All they care about is seeking revenge and our children are suffering because of it. As a concerned parent the best thing any of you can do is attend the board meetings and speak up for your child. Many people didn't like Mr. Butcher but at least he done what is best for the children in our school system...Oh how funny and quick things can go down hill when people change positions and their heads get too big!!! Wonder how many people Kenny Bell stabbed in the back to get where he is? Not to mention Judy Carson, who thinks she is better than everyone else...I think Mr. Whisman has the potential to be a good principal but hes gonna have to stand up for the children at CES and quit basing all of his decisions on what Kenny Bell and Judy Carson tell him to do...

You send kids to school to get an education. Nobody seems to be disputing that these kids are getting a good education. Schools, even Wolfe County schools, have always had dress codes. Some parents will send their kids to school with inappropriate clothing. There needs to be something in place to where this is not allowed. If a dress code doesn't work, it can alway be changed down the road. The important part is that the kids get a good education, which seems to be happening. Mr. Whisman is honest, hard-working and wants whats best for the kids. Let him do his job.
