I have witnessed alot of the work of the Morgan Humane Society and many of the volunteers. I truly hope that they have the opportunity to take over the shelter and continue working with the community for the animals. That is what all of this is about. It is hopeful that everyone can come together and work as a team. After all, this is to better the community and give added help for the animals.

I don't understand why you want a Humane Soc. I ran the animal pound for 20 years and never had a problem with any of the fees and or the animals. I adopted alot of animals out.Fort Morgan has 2 code enforcement officers and that is their job to do animals as well as other duties in the city, like I did. Fort Morgan should run the shelter and take care of it with the 2 Code Enforcement officers as it is their duties in their job discription. This shelter is Ft. Morgan's shelter and I feel Ft. Morgan should run it..Thanks For your time..Sincerly Karen Barnts Columbia,Tn.
