Live Music in Longmont: Dickens Opera House every Friday Night

Full story: www.examiner.com

I'm growing tired of hearing the complaints that there are no venues in Longmont that feature bands or live music, when I know there are. One such place I've written about before and if it's still considered a city secret...it shouldn't be.

I don't know, but the place always seems to be substandard, and has it's share of the lowlife set,and then some.I hope the new manager(s) smarten up a bit and at least have a decent dress code.If it fills up with doped and boozed up hooligans again it will go down the tubes.Let the riff raff go to Group Therapy,Bit O'Billiards, and Tex Mex,and let the civilized folk have a place to congregate.

Hi there- They are open. We went last weekend and had a blast. They added another bar, gutted the bathrooms and have a great staff. Really good time. Check it out!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Leo

A loved one is being rather tetchy today. It won't take much to get on their nerves, even if you think they're being grossly unfair about it. Try not to make the situation worse by being sarcastic or provocative. Instead, encourage them to tell you what's wrong but without raising their voice. Once you know what you've done to irritate them you can start to put it right.
