Marianna man dies several days after arrest attempt involving Taser

A 27-year-old Marianna man died early Friday morning more than a week after Houston County Sheriff's deputies used a Taser on him during an arrest attempt.

Listen, I am not trying to make fun of this young man's death. It is a tradegy. However, the tradegy is that he chose his lifestyle. He chose a life of drugs and crime. He chose to fight the Police. Whether or not he died from the Taser, he should not have resisted the Officer. We do not have that right. We are to obey the law. The officer did what he had to do to go home to his family. This young man made his own choices. This is not the Officer's fault in no way.
