on August 26th, 2008 Please vote for a PROVEN leader. CHUCK ANDERSON has over 18 years of Certified Law Enforcement experience with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (most of which have been as a Reserve Deputy); 12 years with the Florida Fish and Wildlife (Reserves); 17 years PROVEN leadership in local business Management. This all adds up to a life-time of PROVEN Commitment to the citizens of Jackson County. Don't just vote for someone who looks nice or sounds nice. Don't just vote for someone who says they have the most experience. Don't just vote for someone who puts up the most signs around town. Take the time to meet the candidates. One of them WILL be the next Sheriff of Jackson County. Leadership of the Sheriff's Office is a major priority to Chuck Anderson. He will surround himself, as the Sheriff, with the knowledge and experience needed to obtain the full potential available at the Sheriff's Office. He will have an Open Door policy to his office. Chucky wants and expects to hear and see the people of Jackson County for any matter whether it seem small or large. He wants the community of Jackson County to not only be proud of their Sheriff's Department but to also feel that their concerns are being heard and handled in a timely and professional manner. My husband is a Police Officer and we are voting for Chuck Anderson. Please help us get Chucky elected as Sheriff of Jackson County. Check out his website at www.chuckandersonforsheriff.com Thank you for reading this and please comment.

Well you obviously didn't know him too well. AND you don't know Roberts, Dennis or Peacock as well. Have you worked for either of these men? I think not. Are you even in the field of Law Enforcement? I doubt it. If you are, then you would know all of these men and you would be voting for the best candidate. A PROVEN leader in Jackson County - Chuck Anderson. You seem very uneducated on the candidates running for Sheriff. MABYE YOU SHOULD GET REAL!!!!

Hey "gotta go", why don't you put your real name up here? Otherwise, why don't you go. You can keep your opinions to yourself if you are going to be an asshole. If you don't like Chuck that's fine. You obviously don't know Chuck Anderson, John Dennis, Lou Roberts, or Jim Peacock.

What the crap do you know about what it takes, what are your qualifications to judge who would be the best, just because your husband is an officer You are probably getting kickbacks from the Iraq Oaks Golf Course also.....ouch Nice job of cussing by the man of the house also, this will really help the campaign. Good luck

To whomever continues to write the negativity, let it be known that this will be my last reply. I would like to apologize to you for cussing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, please do not bring racial comments into this. The man that owns the Oaks Golf course is not paying us anything. I certainly wish he was, because I could use the gas money. We choose to support Chucky because, as earlier stated, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Also, just FYI, the man that owns the golf course is not an Iraqi, and his purchase of the course has kept several jobs in Jackson County.

Well said Russell. We wish Chucky the best of luck. He is just what Jackson County needs. P.S. I could use the gas money too. I think everyone could.

I smell some serious butt-kissery The Golf Course man is out for his riches and self-interest only and you all are getting caught up in it. He may not be paying you but someone you know is getting kickbacks...HMMM Maybe Chief of Golf Security and Land Watching is working for free also. That whole crap out there stinks, he is trying to buy out everyone near there plus turn L'Ville Road into a country club drive. PURE TAKEOVER. Yeah and he is as American as Lee Greenwood!!!!Good Grief he has to have a translator at all the town hall meetings. WAKE UP

I would like to respond to the person that has tried to tear down my credibility.According to my investigation I do know who this person by their words used and by their Ip address ,but I do not choose to slander anyone.I stated that I would run a postive campaign not a negative so please keep tearing me down.Old slogan, sticks and stones will break my bones, but you can never hurt me with words.Just keep ringing my name I love the sound.God bless you and have a great day.Chucky Anderson(Marianna)

If I had any doubts before I read the comments, I don't now- Russell, I know you and your sister- shame on you. Supporting your candidate is one thing, but being disrespective to those who don't feel the same way - an apology doesn't make up for it. I know most of these people running- lived here over 50 years!Have you and your wife worked for each of them-- even for Chuck? Its one thing to be friends with someone, but its another to work for them.

You seem to think everyone has to be in the field of Law Enforcement to know this candidates. You must not want too many people to vote. If Chuck Anderson wants votes, he needs to have you and Russell to stay out of his campaign!

He has mine though! Chuck Anderson has done much for our community. During my time in high school, he helped create floats for homecoming parades, sponsored our senior class projects, and always took time to be involved. I think that the valuable business skills that he has demonstrated at Rahal coupled with his experience in law enforcement can culminate in an excellent sheriff. VOTE FOR CHUCK ANDERSON!

You know, you people don't have to be so mean. That is part of what is wrong with our country today. Apparently, this topic was started by a Chucky Anderson supporter, and you know what, that's fine. A person can support whomever they want. I am undecided on whom to vote for, but when I do decide, I am not going to start bashing people. Grow up, get some character, and get a life!!!!!!!!!! Instead of bashing those who don't share your views, why not post positive things about your candidate so we all can read it and make a more educated decision.
