Why? Does it really matter who is laying around the courthouse drawing a check? One meat sack is as good as another.

What fools on Topix!
City Attorney----John Miller
County Attorney---John Bertram
Commonwealth Attorney--Shelly Miller
Circuit Judge----Alan Bertram

If you want the entire Judicial system controlled by the Bertrams---then vote for Skaggs.

I want a good honest guy that speaks to you when he sees you and will try to help anybody---- I'm voting for Rodney

I'm not sure what lawsuit your talking about BUT the taxpayers do not pay lawsuits. That's why the state, county, city and all the rest carry insurance. Do a little research before you open your piehole. Get someone to help you articulate. Perhaps people would take you a bit more serious in the future.

Correct. Rodney is a honest and fair person. He seem to be doing his elected position very well. Why would we want to swap him out for a person that has no experience? What can the Skaggs person do for the public that Rodney does not do? If it ain't broke don't try to fix it.

Heard on her radio advertisement that she was GOING to extend her Saturday hours. With the date budget the way it is...she can't without approval. False advertisement. Burress for clerk!! No lies from him.

Well, it's pretty obvious that whoever started this forum did so to set up some bashing on Susie and make Rodney look good. Period.

Ok you clearly don't know your candidates. 1st and foremost Susie has worked in a law office setting since she was 19 yrs old. Along her way she bacame a paralegal. A few years before merging with Miller Law she was the Head paralegal of Bertram & Cox and continued the same position along with becoming the official office manager for Bertram/Cox/Miller. She frequents to the court house on a daily basis and has known production, efficiency and exceeding the standard (hence her title as Office Manager/ Head Paralegal. If you're wondering what else she has done not only for her law offices clients but the community as well you can check out of web page, because i've only scratched the surface.
Rodney was appointed the position of Circuit Clerk. Most everyone has figured that out now. There is a test required by state law that every candidate must complete and pass in order to run for office. Susie took the test and passed twice (because she had to re-take it again to run for this second election). Rodney failed not 1 time but 2 times and finally inched by on the 3rd try. People say Rodney has helped me out everytime they have to make a visit to the clerk's office or he does me favors here and there. What People do not realize is that it's his job to help people out as it would be Susie job to do the same. Rodney has made claims that if Susie is elected she will remove all the current clerk office employees which is impossible. Just another ploy. Rodney has earned full state retirement and is seeking re-election to increase his state funded retirement.
Yes this is a one sided post but that's because the best choice is clear and that's the fact. If Campbellsville wants progression and the use of our tax dollars un wasted then they'll choose Susie because thats what she strives for. Neither candidate is a bad person and neither candidate deserves any slurring either. Both are devoted Christians and come from Taylor County/ Campbellsville loving families. I'm just a person of people and law who is ready to see things go from average to outstanding. I'm voting for Susie Nov. 6

lol this is far from Susie, Fred. Any one person is smart enough to look at the first post which simply bashes the other candidate in an ignorant way (Rodney is not ignorant). Then say Vote for Susie hahaha. This forum is aimed to attack the first post. You people need to get a clue.

Sincerely,

Not Voting b/c everyone is making a big deal about the smallest damn race in politics.

my post name 'a vote for progress' means you people need to look at which candidate is about moving forward. Can't keep the same pace forever so either candidate needs to step up. Which I believe everyone on here is Rodney supporters so if any undecided get on here be sure to pay attention to both candidates and make your choice.

Sincerely,

Topix is stupid, i'm going to youtube

You don't know what you are talking about. Rodney was appointed and then ran. He beat Susie and I really don't see that Susie has done anything since then. I went to school with her and she hasn't spoken to me since. Until she became a candidate. I really don't like people like that. She is just a puppet of the Bertrams and I wouldn't vote for her puss face if she was the only one running. You can tell what a person is like when they aren't running and I sure don't like her.

Nobody wants the Bertram's controlling everything. She's a puppet for them! They will control from the county attorney, the clerks office to the court room. Burress for clerk!!

This reads like a resume. Why don't Skaggs go on and take the bar exam instead of running for a clerks job in a small town? In all of this rhetoric you missed the big question, What can Skaggs do for me (Average Citizen) that Burress can not do? Rodney is already in office and running smoothly along. There is no reason to replace him.

Why don't Rodney take the damn bar exam. Why cause his dumb as a rock. He's just a good ol'boy that will do anything the Judge will tell him down there.
And yee Big Man started this post the Bretrams run the court room now so what would be the deferrence.
He just needs to go back to the ridge where he belongs.

You do know that even if Suzie wins the office staff will stay right? Unlike offices of other elected officials they work on a merit system, which means they won't lose their jobs and Suzie won't get to replace them.
