I started there a month ago, and my training wasn't very good. What I have learned in trainging so far is what I can learn on my own. I have watch Amazon herd in new workers like cattle every two or three days, but most of them never last past about three days, and I was just wondering the reason why this was and Just wondering if I am the only one seeing and feeling this,
I am working now with staffmanagement temp to hire.
And wondering the best teacher in there to train you right in each department, So I can learn my job better to be a good worker.
It's a fast paced world in there. And the more you learn, The more you survive in That kind of jungle.
Hell, need the money .. so justing wanting some input.

Amazon is a good place to earn money, if you don't have any problems with hard work. Most of the ones you see leaving think they can get paid for nothing. Hard work is not for everyone obviously. I worked there for four years and I can tell you the recieving dept is the best. It is fast paced but that only makes the shift seem shorter. The pay is good and I understand they now offer benefits for the temps. Best of Luck

I like working there. I only worked there as a guard in 2005 and worked in stock/stow this summer. The money is great. I was able to pay off my car $1500 just working for 6 weeks. The training could be better but if you are a fast learner you can make it. There is always someone who will help you. You also learn by trail and error. It is hard work but the day goes pretty fast. I hope to work there again next summer.

Well I worked for staff in the past and know they suck as far helping a parent goes you have to have you paper work back in a week and they say it takes them 30 days. You must not been lately to take there drug test. You have the fill up the cup !! If you don't get it to the line then you have to sit there and wait drink water till you can .If you fail you can never be eligible again to work for them or Amazon.com .I just started to work for them this season 2 days ago .I love the fast pace and of course the money :)i had training today and it was great :)

The reason why people come and go so quickly is because they higher a lot of out of town/state temps. They bring them in for a few days put them up in a hotel and then send them back. Plus like someone else said, many of the locals think they can get paid for nothing and find the work too hard. Its just like where i work, people come and go quickly because they didnt think the work would be so hard.

I was trained by a lady name Betty Ford(hard name to forget..haha!) last holiday season....she was awesome! Very patient and knew how to explain things in lamens terms to others who didn't understand. That woman needs a raise or promotion!!!!

Betty Ford is still the best person and trainer their! Why is she is only a season trainer? Very like able and friendly! Amazon needs more people like her! TRAINERS you need to be more like her!
