They've been hiring for the past month or so. And no, you will not be offered a permanent job. Matter of fact, if you were to start now you would be let go before Christmas. Staff's policy is that you get a certain amount of total hours and once those hours are met, you're done. The over-time adds up fast, and you'll be out the door before you know it.

They will not keep you around. After you have worked the amount of hours you're hired to work ,you're let go and another temp. will be hired to work the same amount of hours and then they'll be let go.No one will be offered full-time.Amazon already has the amount of full-time people they need. They've hired the amount of people over the past 2 years they've needed and said they'd hire. Most of the temps i've seen so far,are lazy and stick around the desk all the time.Their sucking up will go nowhere.

It use to be just Tues.and Thurs.but I think that they may be open every day now. They are still taking in temps and you will be required to work overtime.I hope that you only want seasonal work because you will be let go a few days before christmas.

is this something new? a few years back they hired quite a few temps on as "blue badge" after the season was over. as long as they were there and did their jobs. they have done that every year. maybe this year is different. i really hope not. it is so hard to find a job in this place.

Nope, no full time hiring this year. They have all the full timers they need. Matter of fact, some shifts are over staffed with full time people. If you are looking for something full time, you better look else where. It doesnt matter how good of a worker you are, you will be let go.

They said the exact same thing last year and it never happened so no offense but I wouldn't count on it until you see it in writing by amazon with an exact date of the job fair

I have a good friend at Amazon who let me know yesterday that after Christmas, they are hiring 600+ people full time due to expansion and an attempt to completely phase out temp workers.but you have to get referred in by someone who is already full time there. So if you know someone there who is in good standing, have them bring you a referral application. But just FYI, temps do not get hired full time, eventhough Staff Management says you will, you won't. Anywhere from 60-100 temps get fired every week after their hour quota is met. So if you want to be full time, get to know someone and get a referral app.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Gemini

You're in a very erratic mood today, making you restless, edgy and nervy. It may be almost impossible to settle to anything for long, because, as Mercury slows, you soon lose interest. If life becomes boring you'll want to liven it up in some way and it's likely you'll choose the most disruptive and controversial option you can think of, even though you know this will cause trouble.
