It will be a first-class place with first-class food. Nothing like it anywhere around. Bonin (pronounced Bonet') was Marlene's mother's maiden name. Can't wait to try everything on the menu!

isn't that the truth, you have to keep your eyes on the road to make sure no one backs out, or side swipes you.

Only if you can't drive well. Anyway, just noticed this place a couple days ago. I'm going to have to check it out.

I wont be trying it. Do you actually think the prices will be reasonable? With Jeff and Marlene owning it, I would say it would be more for the "snobby Country Club people" around Cville.

That was definitely not necessary. They are wonderful people and if you don't want to go there then don't go. Don't ruin it for the rest of us.

When are they scheduled to open and what kind of food will they be serving?
They should do well with the new jail and judicial center opening soon.
Maybe the end of February. Soups, salads, sandwiches, daily specials and desserts. Probably danishes and stuff for breakfast. Not sure about the hours but will not be open past like 3:00pm.

IT's open NOW. It opened monday. Serves breakfast and lunch with good reviews so far. they had the downtown businesses at the end of last week and iheard from a couple of them it was great! I got a menu and i thot the prices were reasonable. cheaper than some of those insane arby's prices on their sandwiches and that stuff is processed. They bake their own bread their and a TON of their food is made their and not ordered. they say they get some of their food from the farmers market too.(at least their menu said so :) Prices were really great for breakfast and they offer more than regular or decaf for coffee flavors. just some fyi on that!:)

Hope Marlene and Jeff do very well. They are good people. C-ville needs new style resturant besides pizzas and burgers.
