Why should it? The property could still be a big money maker. This is private money and a civil matter, nothing for you to be concerned with.

All I can say is that the story was important enough to make the front page of the metro section in Louisville. It's just the facts whether you like it or not.

It is a civil matter concerning Louisville on a business venture that has not panned out. Why should it concern the Central Kentucky area?

Uh.....maybe because he is the CEO of United Citizens Bank, and some of us have money there.....??

The bank is not named, the way the article reads, he is doing this on his own, with several other investors. Read the article!!

You are an idiot. This venture has nothing to do with any local banks. Ron is a good man, he used to be my banker when he worked at Taylor County Bank, loaned me several hundred thousand at a time. I stayed at Taylor County after he left but still have a lot of respect for the man. Don't get on here and gossip about someone just because you are jealous that they have been more successful than you. Not every investments that I have made have turned out great, but I have had way more good that bad.

I know Ron he is a very nice man he is one of the best loan officers I have ever delt with. He is very intellegent, very educated, and knows all the regulations that are involved with making loans. He got a bum deal at Taylor County Bank and in my opinion TCB loss was the CUB Banks gain. He is smarter thatn any one at TCB.

I've known Ron and his entire family for over 20 years. He is a great person, a good hard working honest man. All you jealous hillbillies get on here as run your mouth like you know something. That's the reason you have so much time to get on this site, you don't work enough. Quit worrying about everyone else and try and make something from your own life. People in this town are pathetic the way they talk and gossip about one another. I moved out of this town to go to college in Florida after high school. The small town gossip was the main reason for my leaving. You sorry people don't understand what it does to a persons mentality or their reputation by talking non sense. I just moved back a few years ago, and crap like this makes me wish I'd stayed gone. Get a life. Get a job. Get some knowledge. Read a book or something for Christ sake!! Don't listen to any of these people Ron!! You keep doing what you do. I love you, Sue, and Mackenzie!!

Wow, some people really get ticked off when news is reported. Apparently the story is true so what is the problem? Hillbillies? Non sense?

I have known Ron and his family for 50 years. There is no better man in Taylor County. I moved my accounts with him to UCB from that awful Taylor Co. Bank and I would move my accounts with him again. This is strictly a personal investment that did not pan out - read the story - this project was started in 2008 when the economy first tanked. Everybody I know lost investments and a lot money from their retirement accounts starting in 2008. This has nothing to do with any bank in Campbellsville, the article said PNC Bank of Louisville. Just like people in this little town to stir up crap that is non of your business.

Ron is now a puppet for UCB! He is just the one that does the dirty work, maybe because he is a dumb ass!

I disagree, there are lots of better men than Ron Wise! He has sold out to the devil at UCB!

I'm confused about who "Jennifer" Wise is?... This is a story similar to many since the economy crashed in 2008. Ron Wise's character is not at work in this story, nor is any bank. The senate, who has not supported any bills to boost the economy, should be the characters in question!.. And I wish I could afford to live in one of these condos-- NICE!

To JustMe, J_Agrees and My Opinion, you are right this case in Louisville has everything to do with a private business venture and nothing to do with UCB. Please however, be a little more thorough about your glowing endorsements. I'm sure a lot of people would have been surprised to see how much cash was circulating at the Doris Newton scrambles when JB was roling, who was the friendly banker(s) at the table? Just keeping you honest.........

You don't have to keep me honest, I have never been a member of CCC, nor will I ever be. Much rather play the courses in other towns. Don't want anything to do with the goings on at CCC. I'm just speaking from a personal perspective.

Does being a local Bank officer pay enough for one to be involved in an investment like this? I find this part very INTERESTING!

It's people like you that make morons look like genius. What is the big deal about someone handling the money at a fund raising memorial tournament. What does it matter how much cash was there. The important thing is that every penny was properly accounted for and everyone that should have been paid was paid. The money was handled accurately and honestly.
