They should. Most of the customers only fuss at them and complain. Always wanting something for free. Dealing with scum bag thieves, that spit and curse the workers. And then the district managers that show up to the store once a week to bitch at them. I wouldnt blame the check-out workers to the managers for walking out.

Whoever walks make sure they get a pink slip on the way out and if any of the remaining hint of union talk fire them also.

The management team there should be fired, the workers should walk out. Maybe then the pieces of crap that run the place will treat them better.

Once I was in line with a guy in front if me harassing the cashier as he was get ex. The way he threatened her and cussed her was unreal. At first I told the CSM person but they shrugged it off, they don't care. From that point, I told the guy in uncertain terms, he was going to get his a$$ kicked if he didn't leave.

The pu$$y left, can't take a man giving it back to him. The CSM was mad at the cashier because she brought her personal life to work, I heard it and couldn't believe that sh!t

So walking out sounds like the wake up call the place needs.

first thing walking out will not do any good, they will hire a bunch of bums. you have some realiy good workers there and then you have the christmas hires that could give a sh$t. i was behind a women the other day and the girl rung her up told her the total and then walked to the other reg. and started getting bags and refilling her line.the lady swiped her debt card and the reg. turned it down so she did it 4 more times before it worked but the casher never looked to see what was wrong or helped her at all just when the rec. came out she gave it to her without saying anything.great customer service, and that is what everybody is hiring. i was in krogers and the lady behind the desk told the person waiting on me that he needed to stop helping with customers getting there bags so they could get faster numbers and told the bagger to help unload the carts so they could go faster. i do not know about u but customer service is not an production job. if it is going to be like robots then turn every line into self check outs

not all union issues are about money. I think if you are making decent money you should be happy nowdays and not get too greedy. The isssue about insurance is a lot of what unions are called in for. Hope I don't ever work for a union again but they do help keep companies honest and its very hard to fire an employee if they are not doing wrong just because they want to hire their kinfolk or friends.

that would be illegal to fire someone for unionizing past cases similar to that the fired employee was compensated in a court of law for that.

and a jury can decide if you were handed a pink slip the same day you walked out was for a reason and award you damages do they really want to take that risk in these times with a democratic controlled senate and pro-union president appointing liberal judges to decide these cases?

What does the democratic senate and the president have to do with an at will state. That is KY law.

appoint and confirm federal judges that will decide the case when the employee files suit against the employer for giving them a pink slip when they try to organize a union. http://www.dol.gov/olms/regs/compliance/Emplo...

If the State Law says you don't have to have a reason, then the company will prevail. All they have to say is that you refused to do your job. Hell they don't even have to say that. If you walk out, they can say they assumed you quit.

as they walkout they should be given a pink slip notifying them of termination. they were hired to preform a job which they choose to work at. this people need to be reminded that the job they are preforming does not require a college degree so if they want a job with all kinds of benefits and high wages they need to first get an education and next practice what you have learned to better yourself and not try to get things for nothing by joining unions to help you get benefits and higher wages that you have not worked for. you should be glad that you are able to have a job. i know several people that work at wal mart some really like there job and others hate it but those that hate it dont quite because they know they have it made they just want to see what they can get away with. i do not have any respect for these people and the company should let them go. those of you complaining if you were one of the owners of the company i am sure as to what actions you would take or belive me your company would not last.
