Well, you may want to call the jail about bail?

They may have to stay at the jail until after arraignment.

Likely will have to pay back walmart, and probably will be banned from going into walmart again. That means ANY walmart, ANYWHERE.

At least, thats pretty much what I remember hearing other people being told, when I was at the courthouse for a traffic ticket.

first off , how does walmart keep u from going in any of their stores. do they have all the people not allow on a board in the enteyway of the store. i would guess that would be a wall bigger than the store. walmart is not going to try and stop u from coming in the store they want your money when u pay for something instead of the five finger discount.

The consequences are greater than you might think. First off, the embarassment from getting arrested for theft cause you are now labeled as a thief! You have to go to court and pay a rather large fine...depending on whether or not this is your first time getting caught. Try applying for a job with a shoplifting on your record...who wants to hire a thief...nobody! If you are over 18 this charge is going to be on your record for a long long time, just something to think about!

Its one of those things that I imagine that they really would not be able to actively control....unless the door greeter happens to recognize you as having been busted & barred from returning.

I would imagine, if you had that restriction on you (no walmarts anymore) and you went into one anyways and got busted somehow (tried to shoplift again, bad check, whatever) that not only would they charge you with the new transgression of the law but I would think there might be some sort of trespassing charges involved as well since a court of law told you that you were NOT to go into a walmart again.

Not to mention that most stores have all sorts of cameras, throughout the store, that record people coming and going, shopping, loitering, shoplifting....

Have you ever heard of "facial recognition" software programs? If not, google it and do a bit of reading on the subject.

If you get caught shoplifting in Kroger they can have you arrested if you go in there again.

Back in highschool, this guy got caught shoplifting an item that cost just under 3 or 4 hundred dollars. Either way, it was just under the felony limit but he also walked out with a razor he used to open it, which was also lifted... so it counted as a felony. So yeah, don't shoplift anything over the felony limit, because you get in way more trouble. He'll be in jail till 2021

I was at W-mart last month when a girl was arrested for shoplifting. An older woman who probably was her mother was with her and should have been arrested for her dirty mouth. She was in parking lot cursing terribly. I know its not against the law to curse but who wants to hear it! I feel this woman should have been praying for this girl but all she could do is take GODs name in vain. No wonder she did this.

Well think of it like this. If a Managers ex wife steels over 80,000.00 and cause he is a manager do you think she is going to get in trouble when security and him friends and it took security over 4 years to catch her and only after security person at the time left and another came on and finally caught her Hmmmmmm what does that say?

cough cough COVER UP.
cough cough SOMEONE IS COVERING UP, hmmmm

I see nothing about it in papers anymore on her and her ex hmmmm think if you did it or your bf or anyone of us did we would not be in jail for a very very very long long time? Something is not right here is it?

Well I didnt happen to wittness the person in walmart parking lot curseing but I have been wittness to one lady in campbellsville with a very foul mouth. The first time I was at the bank there on Broadway she came walking from down the mainstreet area just a yelling and curseing such filth. I had my daughter with me and it did not make me feel better when she turned to come into the bank I was in she cursed at the bank employee's they said she was just crazy. I didnt know what to make of it cuz shes just walking down the street curseing at everybody. I ran into her again a few weeks ago and I know shes still alive because she was doing the same thing. Walking down the street curseing, some random people drove by her and she started curseing them. Once again my daughter was with me. I really wanted to say something but like they say the more you stir in crap the worse it stinks. Baby girl didnt need to see her mommy get arrested for knocking the crap out of the crazy lady. She just asked me mommy what is she talking about? I told her I didnt know I couldnt understand her she must be speaking another language. She then asked me who she was mad at cause there was no one there I'm just like honey the lady is crazy she's probably talking to herself. She accepted this as fact and didnt say anything else about it. I do think if your on meds you should be kept indoors.
