Very true, many use the library or public wifi for access to the Internet. Not everyone has a computer at home or the resources to afford one.

its funny why do we all feel as people that we have to have such things like internet tv or smart phones
you are all the time hearing how people are broke and don't have no money. I'd say get rid of the shit we as human's don't have to these things hm just think about all they money we would all save if we didn't have them. In a way one day i would be looking forward to the sun melting the electrical grid.

If I'm not mistaken, you were offered a job by someone at their car while I was coming out of the bank one day. I noticed you didn't go see about the job after I saw you still standing in the same spot minutes later. Most people are having a hard time.

I care for everyone. If you refuse to go check out a job opportunity, then I have to wonder if you're just looking for a "free lunch." Like another person said in a previous post, how are you able to get internet access?

No one is going to work all day and then hand over their money to someone who won't work. There is an older man and a younger guy that I think are in cahoots. It makes me sick to see the signs that say-Help my family.....Amazon and TG are begging for people to work. I for one cannot understand why people fall for this. They are con men and women that make alot of money doing this. They work in teams and from what I have read rake in big money. I saw an older man in Lebanon Wal-mart begging and then watched him walk to a new white jeep and get in that he had parked at the end of the parking lot. It's bad enough to get in line behind all these young people with the food stamp cards when you are trying to figure out how much money you can spend so you can pay your other bills. I'm sorry but food stamps and checks should be given to people for a limited amount of time and then they should be expected to find a job, instead of having another child by a different man. They seem to find the money for a nice cell phone and thick gold chain around their neck...just saying

Yep. People 'assume' just because you draw foodstamps, that you're not working, and because you have a nice phone that you pay way up there for it. Bluegrass has the iPhone for free with a 2yr contract and their cell service is only $50/mth. Just because you have a smart phone and you receive foodstamps doesn't make you a deadbeat living off the government. I for one work my fingers to the bone everyday and my home is a 1 income family due to my spouse being disabled and not able to work. I pay in taxes so I feel damned well obligated to any help that I may need assistance from the government for. And YES, I have an iPhone. I pay my bills but funds are limited. I shouldn't have to give up things I enjoy having just because some people think you shouldn't have them if you get government assistance. My daughter has a medical card because health insurance is not cheap. The corporation I work for has it, but for a family of 3, the insurance runs $578 a month. That is not a reasonable payment when you're a one income family and you make under $50,000 a year. People bitch and fuss because 'their taxes pay' for these government programs. Well so does mine! It's one thing to abuse the system and never hold a job just because you can solely live off the government, but it's another when you're paying in some of those taxes that funds those programs that you receive.
I've always held a job and work every day, so not everybody that you see with foodstamps are moochers.

I know! I pay my dues just like the next person and it doesn't bother me that I do get assistance to help me out. I've paid taxes in since I was 16 so it's not like I haven't paid my fair share to get that help. People just act like everybody's out to leach off the government these days

So "No Joke" you are saying that you have a paying job, and your family has one income, yet you have a disabled person at home. So the second income for your family would be disability?? And because you work and pay taxes, as we all do and have no choice and no voice to decide how those taxes are spent, that you can make the wise choice to pay $50/month out of your pay check for a cell phone, because you should have things that you enjoy?? What about using that $50/month to pay for your own food?? The rest of the taxpayers that are supporting or supplementing your income could care less if you have a cell phone, or if you enjoy having a cell phone. We don't enjoy paying taxes but we have to do it anyway. Get over yourself NO JOKE

If I was the manager of Kroger I'd invite you in, take you to the deli & get you something warm to eat. Matter of fact, I'd just let you go behind the counter and help yourself! I got a friend named Mike (drives a little red suv) he'll come and pick you up and take you to get a brown jub to make that head feel better.
