Why cant you get a good highlight anymore? whats with the yellow highlights or they look brassy and no it is not the shampoo. everytime i get my hair lighted it is yellow it is not a good color for me or for anyone and they start an inch down from your scalp. I have tried several hairdressers and it always looks the same YUK anybody know anyone out of town that can highlight decent? They cost a fortune so seems to me they could do a decent job I guess I just haven't found the right one

Put lemon juice in your hair (have hair wet) go out in the sun. Does a great job & looks natural because it is.

Oh I wouldn't go to her she thinks she is all that don't even speak when she see's you out somewhere. She forgets where she came from. I think caters to people with money, better hair jobs, I saw a lady the other day her hair was gorgeous and I know Gail does it but the woman is loaded. Thats why I would like to have a hairdresser out of town they don't know what you are worth. Someone told me Tim Hunnicut was very good anybody know?

If you ever in Lexington Brittin Tate Salon on East High Street. The girl that owns it is from Cali and they do a different kind of high light no one does around her and looks amazing...it's a more natural look and does not leave bad roots when it grows out. Lindsay Pace from Campbellsville just started working there....a lot of people from Campbellsville have been going to Britt for years now...but it is a little pricey...but then again you get what you pay for!

Brittin is very good at what she does but is very hard to get in to. Lindsay does just as good of a job, she worked in Charleston SC before coming to Lexington....I recommend them both!

Do you have a # for this salon? How much do you pay for highlights? I've been looking for someone new because I'm kind of disappointed in the woman I've been going to. It seems like I have bad roots after only a couple of weeks and then I have to wait 4 or 6 more weeks to go back and by that time it looks like I haven't been in 6 months. Thanks for any info!

Davinas has some good people there but for two colors on your hair is 150.00. That is just a little too high for me.

You don't have to go out off town. Ginny at Mira Bella Salon on Nancy Cox dr is great. She has been doing my hair for several years and if she can please me she can please anybody!! 4658888. If she can't do it Renee is just as good.
Hope this helps
