How can people drawing a check, getting food stamps, medical card, and housing have any pride or purpose in life? If your not providing basic needs to your family, why do you exist?
Would it not be better if your not even born? If you have a child and can not even provide basic needs for that child, should you be worthy to be called a mom or dad?
There is no pride anymore. The government has made you slaves of the system. You are told to not work, or you lose benefits. You can't make it on mimimum wage, so you stay on welfare.
Is this any worse than the old days of salvery?

Alot of people are put in that position because the other parent dont help with the children when they are born or when the parents split up. When a parent is put in that position then the goverment makes it to where they can not get back on their feet because thaey take what they earn.
When there are not any jobs to go to work and people are being laid off from work then what are these people to do? If you have never been in this kind of position then you are very lucky but hope that you never are. Alot of this is because of adults not taking responsibility and the way the goverment has made the programs.Its sad but it is true.

The government started these programs to help people between jobs or layoffs. Today, it's a way of life. Also politicial parties have found a major weapon, using benefits, or the lack of them, to get votes.
When the amount of money in benefits exceeds the amount paid in by taxpayers, than, of course, the taxes will rise, and keep rising until a complete takeover by the government in every major business.
That day will be when socialism will be completed in this country. Everyone knows it has already started. It's a sad oxymoron that the democrats are getting rid of democracy and installing socialism.

For the first time in over thirty years I am unemployed.I am retraing to return to the workforce as soon as possible. America is in a transtion from industrial to service due to NAFTA,corporate greed and consumer's demand for cheaper products.With unemployment at 10% you must remember there are still 90% working that were in the work force to begin with.Be thankful your job has not been affected!!

Actually, it is not "socialism" that has come in so far; it is "fascism." The government is slowly taking over large corporations. Whenever you hear that a business is in trouble and then you hear that the government is going to "bail out" that industry, it means the government is TAKING OVER that industry.

How much has been taken over so far? Auto manufacturing, housing, banking, financial businesses, credit card companies, and coming soon -- health care, food, waters all over the world, and gun confiscation.

If the Hate Crimes Acts pass, our First Amendment rights will be gone. Christianity will be looked upon -- as it is now by some in government -- as "domestic terrorism." Homeschooling children will be looked upon as "child abuse."

The government's plan is to reduce the population. People will be killed off one way or
another. Another plan is to make the U.S. citizens into slaves eventually. There will be a day coming when there will be no "public" jobs anymore; we'll all be forced to work for the government in one form or another. Those who don't will not receive economic benefits or insurance and/or they will be eliminated.

Keep up with what's going on in this country. Watch the nightly news, but also surf You Tube and listen to what other people are saying.

FEMA is going to have training drills across the United States in late July of this year. Why are they having these drills? Do they expect something to happen soon? President Obama is wanting people to get three doses of the swine flue vaccination this fall, like in mid-October. The swine flu is a made-up laboratory virus that is being used as a scare tactic to get people to accept these vaccinations. The vaccinations contain deadly chemicals. Government is hoping to kill off millions through these "vaccines." People who don't want to take the "vaccines" can opt out on religious exemptions ... but the problem is, once you opt out, you are going to be watched by the government as a "domestic terrorist."

I have heard that some sidewalks and mailboxes are being marked in colors red, blue and yellow in other parts of the country. The colors are according to whichever "list" you are on. The ones who are on the "red" list are going to be rounded up first and taken to detention camps. Martial law will be declared. Some time afterward, people who are on the "blue" list will be rounded up and taken. There are thousands of these camps across the United States now. Look it up on www.google. com and type in "FEMA detention camps locations" and it'll give you state by state where these places are located.

These ARE perilous times and these ARE the Last Days of the U.S. as we know/knew it. I say to you WATCH.

We as citizens let our leaders do this to America, we let them adopt NAFTA and we set back and watched thinking the whole time it won't get that bad! People wake up STOP buying goods, products or food made outside the United States, cars, clothes, whatever if it does not say made in America or a city within the USA, leave the dam thing on the shelf, continue to buy and cut your own throat even more, we allowed this thing to happen and we feed the dam little habit everytime we buy foreign food, clothes, shoes or etc. REALLY look at the things you buy and see where they were made and if it says something other than the good old USA leave it and find a similar product made in the USA, we have 90% of goods that are made but few people buy them and each time they have to sell the America product cheap to get it off the shelf then they will not restock with USA goods in that format. Buy your tennis shoes made in America, buy American made cars and trucks, buy appliances made in the USA! It is time people to help all America out of this jam and it will take all to get us through the rough times, but at the rate we are going the foriegn countries such as Japan, China, Asia will own everything in the USA and they will charge us through the ass to use their goods and eventually used their roads. Heard a news broadcast today that a Japanese Company is wanting to purchase a highway in the USA. Now think about that, if they do they can charge toll each time you drove down the road and if this starts it will snowball into a big deal! The highways mention were Instates 40, 65, 75, 90 and they were others cannot remember all of them. THINK people this can only get worse if we do not stop this bullshit now and take charge of our lives and our paychecks. The rate we are going the foreign countries will hold our water rights, highways, housing structure, electricity, hell people who do you think owns the oil and gasoline that we use everyday now? Not an American citizen but a foreign country!

Here is the thing about buying made in the USA products. Do you know that say a t-shirt can be made in Mexico but sent here and have just one thing done to it and now it's a made in the USA product. FOL use to do this all the time. The product was made elsewhere but the tag was put in here and therefore can be called USA made. You talked about roads being owned by other countries, well... If you ever go to Chicago and take the road coming in off of I-65 you will pay a hefty toll once in Ill. The Ill. section is owned by a foriegn gov. I'm wanting to say France but not for sure. The state of Ill sold it to them because it cost too much to keep it up. I can't recall the toll we paid but I do know it wasn't cheap.

I remember that road, I think we paid about $5.00 just to get through to our exit, couldn't believe that, and people still don't believe that we had to pay toll to go around in Chicago! I do not know who/whom the hell you are referring too but I have not said one thing about people on welfare system! I have never lived in housing, never have I drawed a welfare check but I have friends and family that have! If you can get your happy little ass in gear and get me some food stamps don't think for one damn minute I won't take the things, sister you are mouthing to the wrong one, I have never downed people for anything especially poor circumstances! You say that I am back and forth with jobs, I have only had 2 jobs in my life, who do you think this is? My husband is on disability because he lost a leg to diabetes in 2004. Whew wish youmwould get your story correct!
