Report ranks Kentucky the worst run state in America

Kentucky is ranked the worst run state in America in a new article by 24/7 Wall Street.

The story says the Bluegrass State doesn't rank worst in any one category, but low scores in several areas put Kentucky at the bottom overall.

The factors include a huge percentage of people living in poverty, low education levels, and a bad credit rating from Standard & Poor's.

California is ranked just above Kentucky at 49th. Wyoming is ranked the best run state in the country.

you are correct. People here don't seem to comprehend about the lack of jobs, lack of qualified workets, people existing on relief or foodstamps. And it has been business as usual in state government...term after term, nothing done to change Kentucky in order to help people climb out of the poverty ditch. Nothing.

When people make sense or talk about something that is csusing problems, many try to discredit the person who brought it up or those who support the original post. Many Kentuckians are struggling due to the blatant inadequacy of state and local government. Those that disagree are either political suck ups, idiots, or just arrogant self-important nuts. I stand with those who know the truth of our poor state.

If you have been voting for politicians who promise to give you Goodie at someone elses expense then you have no right to complain when they take that money give it to someone else and to thereself. It is hard to believe how stuipid or more dangerous way of making a decision than putting it into the hands of people who pay knowing the price for being wrong.Socialism in general has a record of failure So blatant that only a intellectural could ignore or evade it.For the last three decades has been a history of replacing with what work to what sounds good.I will never understand why it is greed to keep the money i earned But not greed to take someone elses money.

I know and agree people who try get pushed down. I've home schooled my kids til seventh grade they are honor role students now. Both have been nominated for the young leaders society. Things they were learning at home is beyond what they are teaching at school. I've seen people who try to better themselves and get out of the system get put right back in. I'm not saying everyone wants to better themselves nor I'm I saying that they all want to get off foodstamps but its seems they want people on the system too

I concur we as a people need to show what we can do. Push ourselves to be better demand higher harder education for the next generation. We need to set goals and standards higher. Our country used to be the super power now we are fifth wtf. Its not just this state commonwealth whatever. Its the whole country. I love my nation and I'm positive 99 percent of you do as well, I wish we could set aside our differences and see what is really important. Divided we fall
