Well, if its for building a school, hope that means with a merger in mind. AND with adequate or better facilities for the kids to use in the various activities that schools are likely to do.

Astroturf playing field with actually an adequate amount of seating would be nice....and the support facilities that go along with that.

Yea, i'd say your right. I'm sure a meger is comen. He says he's cleanen house now. Getting rid of teachers and staff that don't follow his agenda. sounds like hitler to me.

That's what our schools really need, forget about smaller classrooms and more ed. tools.

I think he is an a**hole. He is making it so hard on the teachers that they cannot focus and what is most important which is teaching our children. I believe there is a spot in he** for him

I think it's high time he cleans house..there are too many staff that have gotten comfortable in their jobs and have developed a sense of entitlement especially at the elementary school.

He is the best thing to happen here, he will make the teachers do their jobs instead of sending it all home for the parents to teach in the form of "home work" I'm behind him all the way.

I'm for him we definitely need better, safer places of learning for our children.

I seen the man down there over the summer busting his ass, trying to get elementary fit to be in. He was working. Every seen last superintendent get his hands dirty? Yes he runs a different program, he's also going to get rid of the weak and the ones that does not want to do as they are told. When he is finished it will be a better school system!!!

If you read the first line, where I mentioned "if it were about building a new school".....

Build a new combined high school complex...that means building AND the other stuff...like a field that doesn't look like a pig containment area every time it gets used when it has been raining out. Build the new school, then combine say 10-12th at the new school....7-9th middle schools (decide which current buildings could be used for a couple of those level schools), 4-6th in middle schools, and K-3 in elementary schools.

Rehab the existing building(s) that are deemed unsuitable....and reopen as whatever grade level school it needs to be, or use for community education classes.

Sounds like those on the "inside" are afraid they might actually have to work. What a tragedy.

This is so ironic. Someone needs to ask superintendent Cook why he was not rehired as a teacher and head football coach at CHS after the 1981 school year.
Mr. Cook harbors hateward and resentment to CID.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
