We r sitting in huddle house for over an hour with the 2 waitress's still wouldn't wait on anyone. Finally a girl that works at Happy Days started waiting on everyone. They have slowed down to 8 tables between 2 girls but they r still not waiting on anyone and letting the girl from Happy Days is still working. She doesn't even work here but is doing a hell of a job. Cudos to her! Unbelievable!

Everyone who came into The Huddle House and was not waited on needs to call the manager. I'm sure there sre people who NEED a job that would gladly take these lazy azzed women's place.

Who wants to work on the on New Years? If you people that much in a rush leave. If you see they are short handed, why complain about service?

If you see they are short handed, why waste your time complaining...go home and cook your own food or go to the gas station.

Shoe some class and respect people, for these hard workers.

Hello! Did you not read what the original post said? Apparently you do not read very well. And as far as working on New Years, some occpations finds their workers workung on many holidays. Hospital and nursing home personnel, police, firemen, and others. You would be complaining if THOSE people all took off on every holiday. People have a right to leave home to eat. The post said they were not makung an effort to wait on customers. If there is a problem with management, the workers need to address those issues. But also, if there was a problem with staffing...and it appears those workung that day had rather been home, then management needs to fire and hire. It is simple as that.

Sounds to me like they were understaffed. You have nothing to complain about. You should have stayed at home and warmed up a Swanson's meal.

The managers are not gonna do anything about it. Under staffed or not they should always make the customer a priority and that something the huddle house lacks

Again, the original post indicated the waitresses were NOT attending to the customers. Period. Understaffed or not, effort goes a long way. To just not do anything is what pissed people off. And I don't have to stay home and heat up a Swansons dinner. That may be yiur forte but it isn't mine.

You may be right. Probably a lack of hiring quality people for so little pay. Still, I agree that customers keep the doors open, paychecks written for employees and good service generates the tips that many workers depend on. If the workers are that disinterested in their jobs, they need to find something else more in tune with their skills or needs. Stop wasting their time and the customers time.

First of all, I don't have to stay home and heat up a Swansons. When patronizing a business, a.person expects service. Understaffed or not, the person posting said there was no service. Standi.g and doing nothing else. Effort to serve the customers.may have gone towards people not getting pissed off, but not doing their job was too much.

I got bad service there told the waitress that our food was wrong she just looked at us. We told the lady manger in charge she did not care. Even when you talk to Sparky nothing was done. We lie the huddle house we eat there 4 times a month but we have not been back since then.

Up until the past 4 months I was a regular, eating there several times a week. That changed when I started experiencing what you spoke of. I haven' t been back, either.

How about you look at the name tag of your waitress and report them? Instead of making all of the waitresses there seem like lazy girls.

If you tip the waitresses, you'll get good service. Some of you people go in there in large groups and make a lot of noise. A lot of you will pay your bill when you leave without leaving a tip. I've witnessed it. People would be surprised how much these servers get used. It's disrespectful. The sad thing is most of the people that are on here complaining are the ones that probably never left a tip the previous times they went to Huddle House.

So you complainers are complaining about poor service when you never left a tip to begin with during your previous visits to Huddle House. Those servers know who tipped in the past and who didn't.

The servers and cooks work too hard for the little amount of money they get.

First of all, I always tip as I'm sure many others who are complaining also tip. You readily cindemn those of us who got crappy service or no service at all. You must either be one of the lazy waitresses or a parent/friend of one. I've experienced waiting for 15 minutes us for my order to be taken and there were only 7 customers in the restaurant and they already had their food. If you haven't had bad service then good for you, because many of us have had little to bad service.

A few waitresses come across as not wanting to be at work, or simply do not like their job. Why reward those who half-a__s do their job? I tip no matter what, but good service gets more in a tip.

What is right and reasonable tip is 18 to 20% of the total bill. If you can't give this then don't go there.

People do watch what others leave so they know while telling their friends about tightwads. Word spreads like wildfire.

If you leave a tip or not shouldnt matter you should strive to give them a good experience everytime. Showing the you would d like a bigger tip cause you worked hard. They r buying the food that makes it possible to sign checks .If noone goes to huddle house to buy food that means no funds tto pay bills and last but no least no money to give people jobs.

You ppl that are talking down to those poor hard working young ladies and gents that were so dedicated to go to work on new years eve just so they could do their best to feed your drunk asses when you all came strolling in at the same time demanding food in five minutes should be ashamed of your pathetic selves....They may have been undermaned because someone may have called in and it was new years eve, the hardest holiday to get people to work. This is a prime example as to why this country is in the shape that its in...Americans are so spoiled and selfish that they cant even appreciate someone who is there to serve them day in and day out and are always trying to find fault in others...So what you had to wait, i was there to and had to wait kust as long but we enjoyed our meal and went home....
