It is not totally unbelieveable i had a similar thing happen to me my boyfriend and i was pulled over by a state boy we had 9 kids in the vehicle pills and pot laying in the front seat none of the kids were in seatbelts. he grabbed our drugs i told him if he didnt give them back i was going to get him the withdrawls that i would be having without the pills. so he apologized gave the pills back and drove away. lol
Yeh-that really is unbelievable!! I would have dragged you and your punk boyfriend thru your driver window, given you a thorough cavity search, rammed the dope up your boyfriends azz,and then call Childrens Services. All in a days work...

You go down and pay the ticket all the while thanking the Lord that it was a ticket. You could have been broadsided at the intersection then, without your seat belt fastened, you could have been thrown from your car and run over by a tractor trailer. IT does happen. Even to people you know.

It is the law that you must wear a seat belt. Maybe you do not agree with the law. But if you ride without one, then you will get a ticket, or worse. A reasonable person would fasten his seatbelt. Especially if he pays any attention to the way people drive around here.

I agree with you 100% It is insane that you don't have to wear a helmet on a motorcycle. I personally think this should be a ticketable offense as well as seat belts.
Riding a bike is a choice, you can wear a helment if you want too. You can choose not too. There are no babies on a bike. All kids must wear helments, any person riding a bike less than a year must wear a helment.
The only difference in wearing a helment or not, is a open or closed casket. In fact wearing a helment gives a rider a false sense of security. When your brain is exposed, you think alot more and ride safer. When you hit a car head on, nothing, but Jesus, is going to save you, not even a plastic helment. Mass Trama, not head trama, is the cause of most biker deaths.
Soccer moms on cells phones are the reason for most biker deaths, that and these parents letting these teens drive those crouth rockets that goes 240 MPH.
I was on the rescue squad for alot of years and only seen one time that a person died that would have lived not wearing his seatbelt. The car went off the road, the frame bent down and the seatbelt cut the man into. That is (ONE) time out of thousands I went too that seatbeat probably did save lives.
I didn't like it when they made me buckle up either, but it is alot safer, and most accidents happen 15 miles from home. Anyone with any kind of horsesense buckles up on the interstate, why not do it where stats says your probably going to have an accident at?

I was pulled over for not wearing my seat belt. When the cop asked why I didn't have it on I replied that my 2 year old son learned how to get out of his buckle so I have to unsnap it to be able to reach back and snap it again. The son of a ***** still gave me a ticket. The fine here in Texas is $50 max and $96 court fee's. I argue that court fee's is unjust and very high. The law states "not less then %25 and not more then $50. Mine is $146!!!!

The state of Missouri is $10. NO COURT FEES!

Yes, the seat belt law is unconsititional and violates artice 4, 9, 14. I am in the process of arguing the fact and will appeal as much as possible

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Gemini

Mercury will backtrack through your finances over the next few weeks, which isn't a very seasonal thought if you're already well aware that you've overspent this month. Be prepared to do some juggling or to seek expert advice if you're worried about how you're going to cope. You may be kept busy handling inheritance, tax or insurance matters, preparing investment analysis, and allocating funds for the repayment or collection of debts.
