How do u get out of a seat belt ticket!

I seen in the paper that they dismissed a couple of seatbelt fine.Why do the do this? Is it fair to the ones that have to pay there fine?

Some have doctors statemenst saying they can't wear seat belts. Others are just tight with the county attorney.

You may have a medical condition that makes a seatbelt uncomfortable ie; Colostomy Abdominal surgery after having cancer. Some really do have trouble wearing seatbelts although its few and far between.

Yea it does help to be one of the GoodOleBoy's, but thats not the way. You have to learn the laws and rules for cops. Ive beat seatbelt tickets in other counties, and ive beat state troopers right on the roadside. For the seatbelt, just argue that its unconstitutional (Which it is) and threaten to fight it all the way up if you have to. theyll usually just drop the ticket rather than risk bad publicity. And if you know the laws well, almost every time a cop pulls you over he breaks some kind of law. I once had a cop (not in c-ville, and dont ask) pull a gun on me because he panicked when he saw my pitbull in the backseat and then threatened to hurt my dog. i replied with "you hurt my dog ill shoot ya between the eyes with you own damn gun" and when all was said and done, he apologized, let me go, and begged me not to report him. And i was going 80 in a 35! Study the laws people, itll keep your ass out of jail or a ticket.

If you can get your court date set to be on the same day the cop is out of town then your good, but you would have to be very clever about how you to find that out I can't tell you sry.

You people are so stupid and over exagerating this entirely. I have gotten pulled over and my only offense was no seatbelt. I didn't pay the ticket before my court date so I had to show up. When I went in she just dismissed it because it was my first time for that offense and said that I would have to pay it if I got pulled over for the same thing in the next six months. I didnt lie or manipulate or threaten to get out of it.

Yeah right,bad azz.I sure would like to see & hear you tell a police officer that.They would be laughing all the way,taking you to jail ( for threating them )& your pit bull to the pound,until someone picked it up.
