THEY CHARGE WAY TO MUCH IF YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE!!
I disagree. We went and don't have a lick of insurance and we were very pleased with the price of the visit and received excellent service. I will go back when need be!

I had to wait awhile before being seen but was pleased with the service - once I was back there it went fast - I had to be transferred to the hospital because I had been knocked out during the wreck...but they were professional and had excellent bed side manner.

I am telling you for a fact, I would go there before I would even consider going to the emergency room at Taylor County Hospital. There is a bunch of idiots in that ER. The care center is nice to have, good people down there and excellent service. Anyway, who wants to wait 3 or 4 hours to see a doctor.

I was not satisfied with the service I received at all. I had to wait for 3 hours to been seen, but I was the only one in the waiting room. Then, they mis-diagnosed me and I had to go to another doctor the very next day. I was nt pleased at all and I do not recommend them at all. Think about it, if I was the only one in the waiting room and I had to wait for 3 hours, you would have to wait FOREVER even if there was like 10 people in the waiting room. By the time you wait, you could have been seen at the ER at the hospital!!! Even the doctor I saw the very next day told me that he does not recommend them at all.

All you people would fall down on your knees and Thank God for the ER and staff if you had a true emergency!!!! Sometimes you might have to wait for them to revive someone having a heart attack or some true emergency!!! Have a nice day!!

I had a friend who took her daughter there and they charged $60.00 for just looking at her and then told her she had to pay to take a blood test and in order for them to do it she had to pay up front no billing system she asked for her money back and left They are just there to make money they could care less about the well being of the community, I say to everyone reading this don't go there or the er just get yourself a doctor and in order to fing a good one you will have to get out of Greensburg and Campbellsville.

I took my daughter to urgent care last week and was very pleased with their service. They were friendliest group of girls I have ever met and they got us right in. I will definately return, and I am really glad Campbellsville finally got an urgent care.

Who are the doctors at the Urgent Care Center?

I'm not sure of the names, but they have nurse practitioners, and they're doing things the right way. Everyone down there is very nice and they get you in and out in a timely fashion.

As for the earlier comment about the doctor not recommending them, that would come as no surprise. Some doctors don't like competition while others have a condescending view of anyone whose name doesn't end with MD. I'd take their opinions with a grain of salt. That being said, people need to keep in mind that this place is not to be a substitute for a family doctor. That's not what it is for.

Do we have doctors in Campbellsville. I would trust the practitioners at the care center before I would trust most doctors in Campbellsville. And that ER, that is a story in itself. Ask around !

It is supposedly for people who do not want to wait the long wait at the ER. Wne you go there, if you don't have a family doctor, they have a list where they can refer you to one. I applaud the Urgent center, I have only heard good things from them. I do know one of the gals that work there, and they love the job, the practitioners, the others that work there and their boss. That goes a long way, loving what you do.

You think $60 for a Urgent care visit is a lot? My regular dr charges me $150 for an office visit only, just to walk in the room for maybe 5 min. That doesn't include the other charges for x rays or shots or whatever else you might need done. I'm not one of the hundreds or thousands of people running around here with a medical card and so I have to pay it all.

I have to go to a specialist every two months and my copay is $50 each time. It sucks, but medical school is not cheap. Malpractice insurance is not cheap. Office rent and utilities are not cheap.

The person who complained about the $60 fee must realize that you're not paying for their TIME, you're paying for their KNOWLEDGE.

It's kinda like this story...
A man is having trouble with his car; it frequently stalls. So he goes to a garage, and asks them to fix it. They replace the transmission and put in new spark plugs. But his car still doesn’t run right, so he takes it to another garage. At this second garage, the mechanic pokes around for ten minutes, then pulls a screwdriver out of his belt and tightens a screw. And now the car runs perfectly. But the man is irate when he gets a bill in the mail for $200. He storms back to the mechanic, and says,“This is outrageous! All you did was tighten a screw, and you ask for $200! I want an itemized bill!” So the mechanic takes out a pad and pencil, and writes down an itemized bill, as follows:

Labor: turning screw $5

Knowing which screw to turn:$195
