Talking about something that needs to be done soon! Hardly slept all weekend because of this. The one I had (keyword HAD...no longer now!) been seeing, says nope, wont do anything without those Benjamins. Unfortunately, payday isnt till the end of the week.

Any of them in town not sadists and willing to help an emergency case today for someone that has verifiable current work with paycheck at end of week?

Try Dr. Wilkerson. He is good about taking walk ins and if you don't have insurance he will work with you on payments.

We're talking about dentists, dear, not animal vets. Either get with the program or find another topic to act stupid on.

Dr Smoot is good from what I hear...BUT BEWARE of Wilkerson...Dr Wilkerson will fix your teeth..but he FIXES the ones that DO NOT need fixing!!!! Some friends of mine took their child there a few years ago for a check up and they were told that the child had a few cavities..Well when it came time for the fillings to be put in Wilkerson's assistant read the X-rays up side down and filled the WRONG teeth!!!!! Wilkerson okayed the fillings said they looked good. The child's mother had to remind him to wear his gloves before putting his hands in her childs mouth(GROSS). The child has had surgery since then on its mouth (with another dentist) to fix the mess Wilkerson's office made.4 of the teeth had to be completely removed. I am not trying to Bad Mouth Wilkerson..but I think that he and his assistants need to be more careful and more hygenic.I really hope this does not OFFEND anyone..But it is about time Someone said something!!!!!!

I went to Dr. Wilkerson's the other day. I got stuck seeing Dr. Simmons and he was so rough on my mouth. My husband had a talk with him. Of course he denied it. That man doesn't even have a license. He's way to rough and very hateful. I would stay away from him.

most floks go to dentest when in pain or after years of neglect. they are afraid and hard to work on. after treatment they complain because of discomfort. well lets be honest getting your teeth drilled is difficult to go thru. but be glad someone it there to work on your rotten mouth when u are in need

Thats David Simmons, and he doesn't have a license. Did he drill on your tooth?

I've been there before. He's an excellent surgeon. I only took 2 pain pills after surgery. Some people will abuse it. And some need more than others. We have a lot of wimpy people around here. You tell a doctor you're in pain, they give you something for it, then you try to blame them for your addiction! Just like the fat people suing McDonald's and the alcoholics suing Big John's.

I understand, but where was the parent? No 16 year old should have control of pain medication. I have a teenager also. I know it's all too easy to get pills anywhere. When my son needs pain medicine he has to ask me for it. When a doctor gives it out, it's the parents responsibility to see to it that it's not being abused and actually needed.
