Is there any fact to the rumor that a football player that played the entire season with the cross-town rival has moved to TC and is now playing on the team?

Heard the same thing tonite at middle school game. Rumor was that after c-ville didn't make playoffs, he transferred during fall break to continue playing with TC. Like I said, just what I heard from others. Not seen a roster.

a student did transfer and did play football with them tonight. He had already planned to transfer after C-ville's season was over and it just happened that Taylor Co. was still playing. It is my understanding that the coach let the players vote on whether he could play or not. The players voted to let him play. Why wouldn't they he is an outstanding football player?

I know for a fact that this happened. It is pretty bad that you have to get another player from another team to beat somebody. I hate it for the players that have played for this team all year and then loose their position to someone that you have played against this year.

They did not have to have this player to win. They have won several games this season without him. If you have a problem with it then maybe need to stop talking about it on here and talk to someone in the school system(superintendent). The players had a chance to keep him from being able to play and elected to have him play. I am sorry if your child is the won that is not getting to play but this is not the place to talk about it. And yes he did come to T.C. but not just because C-ville had been beaten, he truly already had plans to come to T.C. and sounds to me like everyone but you is HAPPY to have him.

He is not my son, but it is funny that they could not beat Green Co. without a transfer. Some coaches will do anything to win.

That is so untrue. You need to be an adult and give all of the kids credit for a victory. Did you ever think that maybe the team just wanted this win and worked there butts off for it because my son actually talked to one of the players after the game tonight and he said that is what they did. The child also bragged on how well the new player did. One player CAN NOT win a ballgame. That is why it is called teamwork. I also know for a FACT that the players were very excited to have him on the team win or lose. The player you are so upset about happens to be a great child and athlete.

What about the student that left T.C. this week to go and play baseball at C-ville because his uncle is one of the coaches. Because now he will get to play Freshman ball as an 8th grader. There is no difference in that now is there.

I think that this is crazy...My little brother wanted to go to the game last night Taylor VS Green and he had stated that this had happened...In my opinion, that is so funny that after C-ville didn't make it, TC allowed a transfer to play for them at the end of the season...In my opinion, I wouldn't want to know that the only reason that I won was that we had to get a cross town player...lol...But whatever...There are some TC players that need to be brought down a couple of notches...Their parents do too...There were a couple that I definately wouldn't want to be my parent...

We had a couple of tranfer students at our school at the beginning of the season. They had to wait several weeks for paperwork and so on before they were considered eligible to play. How did this kid get to play after only two days at TC? Just courious.....obviously not the kid's fault.

Of course not the kid's fault, just some sneaking around of the school system...That is all...

Just curious...what school had some players move in at the beginning? Was TC in school last week? I know some schools were on fall break and some schools went back after only one week. I heard this player may have practiced with the team last week, but I don't see how that is possible if he could not register due to the school being closed for fall break.
Question for "not exactly"..you mentioned the word teamwork in your post, enrolling a player on Monday and playing him on the next day doesn't sound much like the word "team" is involved? Shame on TCMS!

Why would anyone complain regarding Levi. The students accepted him and that is what we want from our kids. I know Coach Cox would not have allowed him to play if it wasn't checked out first. Sounds like everyone is looking for a reason and overlooking the truth. TCMS worked hard, played their hearts and won the game, nothing more, nothing less just the fact. We as parents have followed this group of boys all season and the fact they welcomed him shows alot of character.

WElCOME Levi and I look forward to watching you play on Saturday.

For those that love the game of football TCMS will play Saturday 12:00 at Larue County.

Who cares if someone transferred from Campbellsville to Taylor County! We are all in the same friggin' City-County! This wouldn't even be an issue if the schools would consolidate and be ONE TEAM!

I agree with you...Yes, TC did play hard, but it is just the point that it happened and shouldn't have...But anyways...I really hope that TC loses to Larue, due to the fact that those boys need to be brought down a couple of notches in their attitudes!!...

I have to admit, I agree with you about the attitudes. As a graduate of TC, I was disappointed with SOME of the behavior I witnessed at Tuesday's game. Overheard some laughing about the fact that our QB was injured (and taken by ems to hospital for those who don't know). I believe the TC HIGH football team could teach TCMS a few things about manners AND good sportsmanship!

I agree and I also think that maybe some of the GC parents could teach some of the TC parents a few things about manners and good sportsmanship!...
