This was a really bad wreck. I sat in stopped traffic for nearly 2 hours. A cattle truck, a van and another automobile were involved. The ambulance left with no sirens. I am afraid someone died in this accident. People please, please drive carefully. Don't take chances and watch the other fellow. This was at the Palestine and Wise Road intersection.

I have no data to back this up, but I suspect that accidents are equally distributed throughout the twelve months of the year. I haven't noticed that there is an upsurge in accidents in December.

the holidays tend to bring more drivers out on the roads. people rushing here and there to buy gifts and visit family. please please be careful out there on those roads and leave those cells off or in the cup holder/console while driving. you can wait 5 or 10 minutes to return a call when you can safely pull over off the road.

Info on the wreck on US68. The driver pulling the trailer tried to stop for someone turning. When doing so, it caused the cattle to shift forward causing the truck to veer over into the other lane. The latest info I have is that a minor in the truck is in Kosars with a lot of injuries and the dad had to be admitted later after the accident. Don't know all of the details but it did come from a family member. I will list no names due to their privacy. I'm sure all thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.
