Wisconsin couple accused of selling baby for $6,000

A southeast Wisconsin couple will face trial on charges of selling their newborn girl to a Missouri woman for $6,000. A Washington County judge said Thursday there was enough evidence to warrant a trial for 38-year-old David Schmidt and 33-year-old Angela Schmidt of Kewaskum.

what can you even say about this story?..All I can think of is that the baby is , more than likely, much better off than had it remained with it's real parents...

Agreed ODB - at least they were willing to turn their child over to a loving home life.

Lot's of people cannot adopt via legal methods, all the red tape and costs - we all aren't Madonna
