Back-to-School Preview: Despite slashed budgets and layoffs, local school districts stay focused

Sheboygan County students will head back to school on Tuesday - at a time when districts have gone through months of massive cost cutting that has included dropping extracurricular programs, laying off teachers and overhauling administrative structures.

I thought that the lottery was supposed to have such a great impact on helping public schools with finances??? What the heck ever happened to that. What a joke!
