In 1985, Minden lost to Auburn in the first round of the Class B state boys basketball tourney. Auburn hit a last-second shot to win 42-40.
Anyway, I'm an Auburn native now living in Kearney. I am trying to locate a video tape of that game, and I've had trouble locating one through my hometown connections. Evidently, over the years, the only school copy that existed was lost/erased or tossed away.
I intend to contact the Minden school to see if a copy exists, but if any former players/fans/administrators etc...have a copy or know of somebody who might, i'd appreciate a heads up. I'd be willing to pay a few dollars etc..to have a copy burnt to a DVD, transferred to another VHS tape etc....Thanks!
