I wouldn't waste my time with their pageant! They always have people who are from Glennonville doing tally. The tally is where the winners are determined and of course there are girls that place that never do pageants and are not pageant material out there. The tallies should come from out of town as well not some 19 year old girls. I also think the judges should not be related to anybody who is involved with putting the pageant on. I think thatís unprofessional and a good way to keep it rigged! That pageant has always been crooked

The first pageant of the morning is 0-12 months and starts at 9 am. The Glennonville picnic has been an annual COMMUNITY event for over 100 years. It is run by members of the parish of St. Teresa's Church. The pageants are definitely not rigged and the girls who add scores do not care who wins or loses. They are both college graduates, one with a Masters. Quite frankly, I think the girls in the pageant should be judged by inner beauty first. There would be a lot of girls that would go home crying.

How can you be judged by inner beauty? This would take more than a quick walk on stage to determine.

The pageant times:
0-11 months baby miss 9 am
12-23 months toddler miss 9:30
2-4 years Petite Little Miss 10:00
5-7 years Little Miss 10:30
8-11 years Pre teen Miss 1:00
12-14 years Jr. Miss 1:45
15-18 Miss Heartland 2:30

For Queen Bee: Nobody except the one person that runs the pageant even knows the judges and she has a little girl that never gets to do the pageant because she feels that would be unfair. The judges are out of town every year. The tally people are from glennonville so is everyone else that works the pageant and the picnic. Glennonville puts it on for a fundraiser for the catholic school. So just for you information nobody in the pageant are even related to the judges. The girls that do the tallying are both over 25 years old they just look young. So if you do not want to participate then dont but it is for a good cause.
