Please bring back coach fowler, chs basketball has suffered its worse season in its history this year under coach Kerpriean. The boys do not respect him, he has had several quit this year, and his basketball iq is lower than his win total. We had talent this year and have competed on pure talent but the coaching is not there. The boys have no direction and nothing to go by. Parents and fans are in the stands grumbling over what they see on the sidelines and the parents talk about how their kids come home and say coach doesn't tell them anything. It's an embarrassment that our boys get blown out by 30+ points when we have halftime leads. Other coaches make adjustments he doesn't know how top. So please Coach Fowler bring your knowledge and winning attitude back to the chs high school sidelines.

The last time we lost the jv and varsity in the first round was last year. We only won a few more games last year and we had the best player in the conference.

It's the way we are losing and the kids attitudes. They are not having fun playing and the ones that are playing I just do it for the chance to play. It's ridiculous and I would love to see a change and hopefully by nxt year!!!

I have had my ups and downs with coach k and Iove coach fowler but either way us as a team have to go out and play ball no the coaches a lot of the stuff coach k uses is stuff we have done in the past with fowler I will play every game hard as will everyone else no matter who the coach is. But you can't blame the coach all he can do is get us to the game it's up 2 us to play the game

Jake that comes from someone who quit the team earlier in the year cause as you said "we suck", then come crawling back to let coach k take u back. That shows what kind of coach he is to let u come back after walking out on ur team. Oh and maybe u do use the same plays as u did with fowler. The only difference is fowler taught u how to execute them correctly. There is more to a play than the name and that's basically all coach k is running, cause the actual play is not being run. Ita his responsibility to alter the tempo of the game and to make adjustments to the other teams offense and defense when needed instead of just putting his hands on his head and jump up and down yelling the play over and over. Jake if you think coach k is doing a tremendous job then ur expectations in life are not very high!!! You guys both jv and varsity could have accomplished so much more this year.

Your right they did and it wasn't fair to them for how they were coached this season. They were clueless offensively and defensively and that is the coaches fault. They played their hearts out an at their best in transition and that is all on the boys, but when it came to slowing down the game and calling plays that's when it got ugly. You can't have 3 guys running around and the other 2 standing still in the corners. The defense has it easy then and can read every pass before it even happens. Coach k will hopefully step down before he gets run out, because he is a good guy just has no basketball sense and holds grudges against the players

Guest ur a fool....you must not know basketball. The JV has several boys that are talented and the varsity has some boys like Mize, Dell, Vaughn, Walker, Nichols, Umfress that have the ability to be competitive if coached and taught right. But 30-40 pt blowouts are not competitive. They played several games against better teams and held their own and lost it in the final minutes. Close games come down to whomever has the best coaching in the final 3 mins. Coach Fowler would have continued coaching if he had the time this past year. He knew he couldn't give the boys the attn they needed. It's not his fault. The school board should have interviewed more candidates instead of just handing over the job to a coach with a bad track record.

You guys are downing a 1A school coach. When it comes down to it no 1A coach is very good that's why they coach 1A schools. Every 1A school take a talent hit. And there are no extremely talented players at a 1A school. Instead of downing the coach our kids that play relies that the completion isn't that great and never has been. That's why every 1A school plays zone defense. There not good enough to play man to man defense. None of the kids are taught in a 1A school court vision they learn the basics. They don't run the offense and they play zone defense.

Are you that retarded to compare a UNCC team to CHS or any division 1A High School. And who cares if CHS lost to any team. I watched CHS team play. They try to win for this coach they play hard to. There just not a talented team. Don't you think they want to win. And just because Jake quit and the coach let him come back shows to me that they settled there differences. Not that the coach is a bad coach but you can't see that because you retarded trying to compare a UNCC team to CHS. Of course Syracuse plays zone. They play every defense fuktard.

Clyde it seems like me to me that you have three options if you are that smart with the game of basketball

1. get the boys together this summer and play some aau.(if they have that much talent, you should be able to compete with top teams)

2. apply for coaching position, you seem to be knowledgeable enough

3. talk to coach k himself...you call jake out for working things out with coach but at least he doesn't hide behind a public forum with fake name and bash him..be a man and go talk to him about how you think campbell basketball can improve...i'm sure he would love to listen

and for everyone, talent is otto porter and bobby hatchett...not anyone from campbell has "talent" regardless what you think

I agree! But Campbell does have talent and they have the tools to win but like I said the coaching just isn't there. Fowler has been missed this year and it has been made obvious.

Black hawk....if I have to watch another season like this one I'll Definately be talking to coach k u can guarantee that and I'm sure parents and other fans will join me as well

No matter what you think, Fowler isn't the answer either. He has the same old plays, whines at the refs, and believes in a one-man team...that was proven last year. Instead of developing a team, he let it be a one-man show!!

Fowler is the answer! He is one of the best coaches in the area hands down. Players listen and respect him. He knows how to fire them up and knows how to handle each player individually. It was a big blow to chs hs basketball when he had to step down but a major step up when he took over the junior high, 2 conference championships to show for it!

Please bring him back and send coach K to coaching girls softball and pe
