before last week, when she skipped town, there lived a women in a wheelchair at the Mission Gardens Apartments managed by The John Stewart Company who drove DUI on a revoked license through our streets. that she isn't a headline is a miracle! but now that she is free to roam, who will she drive over and kill?
do all of you posers, i mean posters, care more about illegal immigrant bashing than about a disabled DUI driver who is going to run over your kids?

My grandparents all immigrated to this country, half of them from Mexico. They did it legally, they learned English, they taught us to assimilate and to become American while still retaining our cultural traditions (Mexican and Italian). Technically, I am 1/2 Mexican, and I am proud of my heritage.

That said, the immigrants coming over the border are already starting off outside the law, and many of them continue to live outside the law in many ways. They drive without licenses or even knowing the rules of the road. They drive without insurance. They drive drunk far more often then US citizens, and DARE claims that illegal drunk drivers alone kill 12 people in the US every day, not to mention injuries and property damage. That's JUST the driving situation.

In the illegal community, there is often no compunction against breaking the law, as by default illegals have chosen not to recognize it. They start off by ignoring our laws, and in many cases they continue to do so until they are deported. Yes, there are many exceptions, but even they are still lawbreakers. They are, by any account, criminals as soon as they cross over the border.

Unfortunately, the guy who stole the car is one of many cases in recent months of a young hispanic man breaking the law in Santa Cruz, and as a much whiter town than the ultra-libs here care to recognize, it is more noticeable BECAUSE the man is a minority. That hispanics seem to cause at least half the crime in Santa Cruz county is just sad and frustrating, but it's a reality that is not helped by sanctuary cities and local governments fear of being called racist for simply upholding the law.

Like many Mexican-Americans who arrived here legally (or whose parents/grandparents did), I support the Arizona law. Let's make sure ALL immigrants are prepared to be law-abiding citizens from the start, vs. criminals from the day they set foot in our country.

You get rid of millions upon millions of illegal aliens, and we'll talk about your "disable DUI driver."

Would you like to bet us this Hispanic hit & run car thief is NOT an illegal or an anchor baby?

Well punk, would you??

He knew that if he could just make it to the sanctuary cities of Santa Cruz or Watsonville everything would be all right.

My simple amigo,
Your simple amigos commit outrageous crimes like so often it's a bad joke, yet you never express any remorse for all the people whose lives your simple amigos mess up.
No, all we get out of you is your stupid race card.
So tell your simple amigos how horrible it is here. Go ahead. Tell them how much better it is in good ol' Meheeco.
I'm not playing a race card. YOU raise the race issue with every post. Your comment that I replied to implied that the criminal ran because he is Hispanic. My thought is that most criminals try to evade capture, no matter their ethnicity. You identified a common human trait and tried to make it a trait common to only one ethnic group - THAT is racist.

It's easier for an illegal alien to run, they can duck back into Meheeco and lay low till things cool off, and then sneak back in here. It happens all the time.

Even if it only happened once, why should be put up with it?

Are you really so naive that you don't know that?

Another thing amigo, I'm just guessing here...

Are you the sort of guilt-ridden white boy who can spot the slightest trace of white racism, but NEVER EVER complains about anti-white racism? There's a whole lot of it in these forums. Link us to ONE example of you ever complaining about it. Come on, just ONE!

Surprise us, hypocrite!

So, let me get this straight: I catch you out in racist comments, and you can't quite handle it, so you accuse me of some contorted reverse racism? Pat, you need to get a grip.

Tough guy, aren't you. Anyone dares to disagree with you and you start channeling Clint Eastwood. Why don't you try showing us your reasoning, rather than puking out insults, stale generalizations, and common misperceptions? The driver may well be illegal. If so - deport him. However, there is nothing in the article to indicate he is in the country illegally. Maybe the Sentinel will clear that up for us.

Nooooo, the Sentinel will NOT clear that up for us.

And if it did, people like you would play your race card. And that is why the rest of us can only speculate about the immigration status of the perp. This much we do know:

1) He's Hispanic.
2) He stole a car.
3) He resisted arrest.
4) He drove extremely recklessly in traffic while running from the police.
5) He smashed into several other cars.
6) He injured several people.
7) He caused much pain & suffering.
8) He tied up Highway 17, disrupting many lives.
9) He ran away from the scenes of his crimes.

We figure, based on much prior experience, this jerk may very well be another criminal illegal alien invader, or anchor baby of one.

We don't need your permission to discuss the illegal alien hordes and the crime epidemic they bring with them.

Well, we may yet see a Sentinel headline about the disabled DUI woman driver. She and her boyfriend are back in town, driving down your streets. They couldn't stay away from Santa Cruz and our neighborhoods. I guess she is determined to do a hit and run on your kids.

If you see a white Ford Winstar with tinted windows, license plate number 6W33874, broken front hood/grill and cracked front bumper, DRIVING ERRATICALLY, call 9-1-1 immediately to safeguard your kids from being run over.

most of the white paint was scraped off of the front and rear bumpers, maybe because there were so many cracks. watch out for the same minivan driving too quickly or too slowly, also weaving in its lane and jumping curbs.

she can barely walk anymore. she is hunched over and walks in tiny steps. if you see the driver of this minivan hunched over the steering wheel you have ID'ed the reckless driver with a revoked license, so call 911.
