funny how when something tragic happens everyone is so quick to run their mouth. . God forbid something similar ever happen to you because karma is a bitch talk all you want . . . and when you find yourself grieving over a loved one I hope you remember how heartless you were towards someone else. my prayers go out to this family and hope they find the irresponsible owners if the dog that killed that innocent baby

My kids are 8 and 10. I know I'm not comforable when my kids are outside even in the back yard and It's fenced in(6 ft.). Sometimes I think I'm over-protective, but I keep checking up on them or just get tired and go outside. I don't care what other people think. They are my babies!

This is a horrible tragedy! It's time to ban that breed of dog from this town. Before people start crying that it depends on how a pit is raised, look at all the pits in this town! All the pits I see are chained up to a tree, trailer house or broke down vehicle in the yard of their owners. These dogs aren't being loved and nurtured! They're used as guard dogs or just because these people think they look cool with a big pit bull chained up in their dirty yard. It's not just pit bulls, there's a lot of irresponsible dog owners in this town! Sabinal's plagued by stray cats and dogs and dogs that are allowed to run wild by their lazy owners!

I just read the article on the little boy. If that is true that the owner looked out the door during the attack and did not do anything he or she should be put to death. The dog should be killed and the owner imprisoned. Everyone is well aware of what these dogs can do. Even the friendly ones have turned more then once. You wanna be hardcore, wanna look hardcore, treat your dog hardcore then you should have to fight your way threw prison hardcore. A baby is gone and someone needs to pay. I couldn't imagine something like this happening to my child but the father seems to keep control which is a good thing. If it were me the dog would of already had a mag full of rounds in him and the owner in the hospital or worse.

Wether it's a family member or friend you should sue them due to negligence, I know it won't bring your baby back but it sure will avoid someone else to be attacked again
Only God knows how much of a great/bad mother you are!!!! Ppl don't walk in your shoes, I myself would not like to be in your shoes my deepest condolence goes out to you and your family
