I happened to be in Montana and read about this book, The Bottom of the Sky, in The Billings Gazette in early June. The author, William Pack, was in Billings doing book signings, so I stopped by the Barnes & Noble. I bought the book. I started reading on the flight home to Phoenix. I read in the car from the Phoenix airport to my home. I did not unpack until I finished the book the following afternoon. This book is stunningly beautiful, raw, and on target in a while range of human emotions. Fantastic novel.
