Stormier hurricane season predicted for rest of year

Hurricane season is from June 1st through November 30th.

Who cares about these forecasts? They're never accurate and are always being revised. Bottom line is we won't know until the storms appear. Just be prepared.

I have learned that all these are are predictions. Forecasters can't predict the weather, that has been shown. Last Sunday called for 70% chance of rain in Broward Co all day. All I saw was clear blue sky all day. One of the nicest days we have had.

Wilma was pretty close....around Halloween in 2005, but it is very rare. The "peak" is a 6 week stretch from about the end of August through the middle of October. September is really the worst.
