Deputy Shot 'Irrational' Marine to Protect Kids in Car
The deputy who shot and killed an unarmed Marine sergeant after a predawn traffic stop said the Marine was acting so "irrationally" that it seemed dangerous to let him drive away with his two daughters, an official said Friday.

So the OC Sheriff's dept forgot to charge their tasers that morning or what. I just don't see cause to use deadly force and the story is changing daily.

So the deputy fired. Not a warning shot, not an incapacitating shot, but a kill shot. He declared he 'feared for his life' but no credible threat is stated. Can we seriously expect him to protect the public?
