I live in camp douglas wi about 15 miles from Tomah, In this small town there are a few young adults that have terrorized the neighborhood for a few years. Now thses young adults are over 18 years old and yet their crimes still go unpunished. I month ago my 21 year old son with special needs and bi-racial, was their target as it is most of the time. this time a group of five, threw cap bombs at him while he was riding his bike, this made him fall off the bike. A neighbor, that had 7 young children at her home, saw the incident and felt the impact of the cap bombs, all the children saw my son being teased and all the children know and love him, and this terrorismed them as well as my son. Several people including my son called the Juneau Sheriff department. The resonding officer that spoke and took my sons report couldnt even bother to get out of the squad car. The outcome was that they all recieved a $500 dollar fine. I think this sends a terrible message to the terrorists and to the community that has to deal with these people that know think that the rules and laws dont apply to them.
