Apparently, some people can never get enough. I wonder how many paranoid people are letting their Families go hungry so they can buy MORE ammo? Crazy, just crazy! That's all you can say about it!

Business booming for gun stores Saturday
By AMANDA WILCOX - Daily News Staff
Published: Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 22:35 PM.
Business was booming for local gun shops and ranges Saturday, but not because of the expected crowds for Gun Appreciation Day.
Basil Davila, co-owner of Sportsman Lodge on New Bern Highway in Jacksonville, said only a few customers mentioned Gun Appreciation Day but said that since the turn of the New Year and talks of gun control legislation began, business has been nonstop.
Earlier this week, President Barack Obama introduced a $500 million proposal that calls for universal background checks and a ban on military-style assault rifles in response to the Sandy Hook shootings in Connecticut last month.
Davila said the effect locally has been the opposite of what Obama wanted with people flocking in herds to gun stores to stock up on weapons they think might be banned soon and signing up for classes to learn how to use them.
“More and more people are coming for the concealed carry classes,” Davila said.“We usually average about 20 students per Saturday, but today there was like 45 people in line, even though we can only hold 25 in the classroom.”
In addition to packed classes and a full shooting range, Davila said ammunition and assault rifles have been flying off the shelves during the past few weeks.
“Right now we’re out of most of our ammunition, so we can’t even sell,” he said.“It’s nationwide basically so all the distributors are running low on stock.”
Dana Fitzpatrick, owner of Flatwoods Outfitters in Hubert, said he’s having the same problem as Davila and is unable to keep assault rifles and various types of ammunition in stock.
“Most of the people are coming in looking for guns that I can’t get right now,” Fitzpatrick said.“They’re looking for the AR-styles, the AK-styles — those are the ones (Obama’s) trying to ban.”
Gun Appreciation Day — scheduled for two days before Barack Obama’s second inauguration — was proclaimed recently by a new coalition of gun rights and conservative groups in an effort to send a message to Washington that Americans aren’t about to give up their guns.
Flatwoods regular Bill Smith said he had no idea Saturday was Gun Appreciation Day, but said he supported it because he opposes any legislation Obama wants to pass regarding gun control, calling the president’s newly introduced plan “pretty ridiculous.”
“If he takes my guns away the only people that are going to have the guns are the criminals, so how am I going to protect myself,” Smith asked, adding that Obama’s new plan is “completely a step in the wrong direction,” and saying if the president starts banning assault rifles, it will only be a matter of time before he bans all guns. 'We are our own worst enemy.'

James Yeager speaking gun control.

How ironic. And moronic. And idiotic.

Thank you James Yeager for arming the left with some powerful ammunition to sway the non gun owners with.

I think Yeager only said what a lot of others wanwted to say but didn't have the balls to do it. James Yeager is not responsible for the lacking of guns and ammo THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE TO BLAME, THEY ARE GREEDY AND SELFISH AND IGNORANT. I wonder who is gonna help protect the greedy bastards when we run out of ammo and they need our help, how can we help when we don't have any ammo.THE AMERICAN PEOPLE are gonna cause the same thing to happen to ammo as they did the CIGARETTES.
